I think christianity has some really good values (love, forgiveness) and of course it's not the reason for hunger (what was that about?) but some christians get really over the top saying these things about purity. I think you can love and be a good person and still wear makeup and the clothes you want and have sex before marriage. That has nothing to do with being a bad person and I think God knows.

These guys have made a PERSONAL decision, based on their faith to stay pure until marriage. As a Christian mom of a daughter who loves these guys (as do I!)and a former youth leader who was present at many ring ceremonies, I like this message, it's refreshing..I feel safe knowing she is listening to good, clean music that rocks! they aren't little perfect people. yeah, they have purity rings, SO WHAT!?!? they are like all other teenage kids. Kevin isn't really even a teenager. I think that if they go threw with it great if not, big deal. they're humans, deal with.

I'm 21 and I by no means think they're too sugary. I would much rather support guys who love Christ than someone "dangerous". Plus, you can definitely be a Christian and be "dangerous"...it just doesn't look like what the world wants it to look like. However, I am not going to expect perfection out of them, because they're still human and make mistakes. I pray that they stay strong and that fame doesn't trump their values.
