How many schools that had endured 15 straight non winning seasons would still get that kind of crowd support and fan reaction.  during the 20 year period that Iowa went without a winning season, we averaged 85% of capacity in attendance.

Geez, look at how small Kinnick was back in 1977. In this game it almost looks like Jack Trice because of the fans sitting on the grass in the corners of the stadium.
