  • Feet per second, what would you rate its speed?

  • @GhostXoP Somewhere between 1.38 and 1.67 I estimate. On top of that it also depends on the quality and running time of the batteries. The more energy there's, the faster it rolls.

  • did you make this yourself?...

  • @TheSamson50 The model I created partially by myself, partially by using the building instructions of the original 599 Fiorano model. The movie I also partially edited by myself and partially my camera guy captured the footage.

  • when i first heard the music of this vid i thought my cellphone was ringing, until i got an arrow to the knee..

  • who else saw the thumbnail and wanted to see if some virgin built a full size ferrari out of legos?

  • OMG IT NOCKED DOWN A PILE OF PINES!!! :OOOOO pfffffff my rc car can do that in its sleep... but it doesn't sleep.... hmmm then it uuuuuuuuu does it while it is not being driven :D btw cool vid make more!

  • 3 of my passions 1) Lego 2) Ferrari 3) Scorpions ...I LOVE THIS !! Greetings from Greece :D

  • Pine Cone Killer!!

  • i got here from shoenice22

  • it looks like this when half of it is burned and speed is reduced to 95%

  • @martinlego25 Then we're sharing mind. When I looked at it I thought the same way, hahahaha.

  • How fast does it go exactly?

  • @acr2121 An estimated 4 or 5 km/h.

  • @beefjerky444 That's fast for a little Lego character

  • whats with the music? good video

  • make a tutorial

  • i wonder whats under the hood.

    hey billy pop the hood!

  • @MistakenForTruth Look at 1:15. But still, that's only to cover the steering motor. The real power source containing 6 penlites is positioned under the backhood, where it actually shouldn't be. I just put it over there 'cause I didn't have enough space to put it in the front, under the seats or wherever else.

  • @ramy9586 True...true...

  • wow supercar II eh eh e

  • lol i thought it was a full size one

  • you should try to get some sort of turbo

  • Are you gonna put RC nitro engine in it now?

  • @knightrider1545 Not in this one. Maybe in Tumbler...it's finished on saturday morning.

  • @beefjerky444 Alright, someone is on board! can wait to see it.

  • AWESOME!

  • @greenoakst Thnx very much. I saw that you are working with Arduino stuff etc. I've also worked with Arduino on school and it's wonderful if someone can create a system with Arduino.

  • 2:30 funny moment in slow motion :D....thumb up ;) nice Ferari

  • thumbs up if you thought it was actual size

  • STOMP!

  • i'm so jelous

  • good job man wat motor is in it

  • @monky451 Two medium motors for left rear wheel and two medium motors for right rear wheel. One medium motor for steering.

  • Is that an real lego technic set???????

or you just buy the 8070 supercar and you biulded for your own??????

  • @RicardoMoralesCastro The 8070 supercar set wasn't in production at the time and I didn't even buy the 8145 Ferrari 599 Fiorano set either. I downloaded the building instructions of the 8145 model from the Lego site and I put the parts together I already had from other sets.

  • @beefjerky444 AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I WANTED!!!!!

  • awsome i like that

  • omg thats life size? oh wait,,.. those r some big leaves

  • @ThorsHammer26 And some big pinecones too

  • @beefjerky444 and a huge tree lol

  • como mola está muy chulo, haber si haces otro

  • @MrDeivi65 Thnx very much!

  • Great stuff, drives in miniature like it is in real life.

  • 0:00

  • This is so freaking cool.

  • Dont crash it

  • @AJHBeats Well, I dismantled it. But now I'm trying to build a RC batman tumbler.

  • it looks very affordible :)

  • The Ferrari 599 GTB-4 doesn't have five doors, only three.

  • @jtfun678 You mean the "Graf-weckerle" version with it's fragile rims, it looks very "wacky" to me, however you put it.

You know what's funny, jtfun678, my Lego RC study model looks as it should be, I prefer my own model above the "Gravy-wacky" one, besides, I never liked it 'cause the rims look very gay.

  • LOL Pine cone fail...

  • @LIFE4LEGOS I know, I know...we tried to let the rc scale model push it forward for a whole distance, but still it kept jammin'and jammin' you know. Now I have eight medium sized motors, so I'll put them together to create one single big engine, hoping it delivers more power. Hopefully it works on my new rc Lego car.

  • are you sharing your building instructions?

    thanks!!

  • @casperycghost If I'd have the time to create one I'd surely do so, I've a very busy schedule. If I'd create one, I'd choose between the following programs: 3D CAD, Solidworks, maybe 3D max or Lego designer.

  • does it come with that remote?

  • @legoninla1138 I was that lucky to already posessing remote controllers and receivers. Two from the gigantic bulldozer set and two I bought single. If there would be a lack of single parts, I'd have bought some as soon as I could (and as easy and cheap as I could get it).

Tip: follow stores and websites and compare prices. Some sets and / or parts are cheaper here, more expensive there you know.

  • URRRRRGGGH. It's like watching porn to an 80's soundtrack...

  • @Zesda22 Awesomesauce!!!

  • how many time you make it?

  • @giedriusziaunys Well that depends on how fast one can build it up from the ground and how much time you've to build a model. In this case I had seven weeks to build it and despite other occupations I made it just two days right before the deadline.

Besides, I followed the instructions from the 8145 set and it gave me more setoff.

  • oh he is soo cool he ran over pinecones

  • @beefjerky444 Ma è più lunga del modello originale? Figo comunque, bel lavoro!

  • @Puzzicanello Thanx very much!

  • thats a cool introw

  • Great MOC !

  • how many star does it get in a crash test

  • @coolgames14 Last year were doing research and design of the Ferrari concept car, With some help of automotive designers we were able to calculate on many ways how the "real car" would behave during a crash. Surprisingly we reached 5 stars. We even didn't plan to reach those 5 stars and it wasn't an objective to start with from the beginning. We were just checking out "how it would be". In about two weeks I'll film my Aprilia RSV4 Lego bike.

  • @beefjerky444 5 stars crash test on a lego doesn't prove anything. it was a worthless project.

  • @LindalovesRyan Yeah, some project are stupid, I agree.

  • really

  • @IgorRib2010 Thanx very much

  • nice is it a lot to insure

  • very good infinite creativity

  • pinecone epicness

  • 超欲しいw

  • a red raser gt going to the rase

  • i think you have to gear down the steering if you use the normal conrol

  • @ThePetterx I tried, but then the steering went too slow, that's why I also used the 8879 remote control. But I feel lucky with the clutch wheel, that made the steering construction lots and lots easier.

  • オランダ人どんだけ暇なんだよw

  • なんでオフロード走らせるんだw

  • @nekoneko147 Eh...ok...

  • @nekoneko147 Thanx very much :-)

  • @nekoneko147 I like to drive rough, so that's why I go offroad, it's awesome. Yeah!

  • can i buy those in the if not what site online if not i'm f***ed

  • @Bobbypoker ...or you can bring it like me and totally NOT buying the Ferrari 599 Fiorano set. At the time I didn't have the money to buy the set. Instead of that I downloaded the instrucions manual pdf file and I used components from other Lego sets to complete my rc scale model.

The parts I used just coincidentally happened to be almost the same color, I just stretched the model to make it a sedan.

As I can remember I built a Ferrari Enzo model too (plain model, no rc) before this.

  • You should made it as a Mazda RX8, but without the rotary xD

  • @kkuhn83 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti would be closer, I believe that's also 4-door and you'd just need to tweak the grille a little to make it look like one.

  • nicely done! i recommend you buy a small portable video camera and put one in the car and then record. you would get a nice angle of the speed and "action"!

  • @scir91 Yeah, good point. I bought a new phone with a reasonable camera, hope that will do fine during my new mini project.

  • I wanna se a doughnut... or at least a burnout !!! :P

  • @tibby499 I'm trying to built an enough powerful motor/chassis/suspension/wheel combination for doing something like that in one of my new projects.

  • can you use both of the controllers for the normal batterybox??

  • @ra11e1 Yep. The battery box or the rechargable accu or what kind of other source of energy you may use, it just delivers power. The main thing is that if you have a controller, you'll definitely need one or more receiver(s), to command the motors of your rc scale model.

  • Do you think a 11 year old could do this?

  • @Iplayvideogamez247 Jah. When I was 10, growing 11, I created a Lego Ford Mustang model, based on 8880.

Now I've finished a motorbike moc. it's time for editing another video!

  • When i saw the working Remote i was like O_o

  • four people didn't think that farrari and legos could work

  • @chickendance346 Indeed I also don't think that "farrari" and "legos" could ever work, they're illegal knock offs, however you put it. I don't want to touch anything like that ever.

I've experienced that "Ferrari" (also written with capital F) and "Lego" (also written with capital L, no -s at the end) are working together for years. They've released numerous of sets, they work very well.

  • this is better looking than the new ferrari ff, and off road capabilities!! :D

  • @osochocolatoso Thnx very much, awesome.

  • This looked like life size in the thumbnail :(

  • where can i buy it online?

  • @galvinlim11 Search and thou'll find.

  • good work

  • @sharkbaitt70 Thnx buddy!

  • what's the warrantee?...

  • @droppinsumfudge I don't know what the warrantee is, but there's a warranty.

  • @beefjerky444 haha it was a joke

  • @droppinsumfudge Jah buddy, I know, mine was too, haha.

  • @beefjerky444 oh haha

  • put fire cracker in it and watch it go boom

  • @gamer1200000 That's what I wanted to do. Not life action, but with after effects. I don't know how to operate Adobe After Effects that well, but a friend is very good at it. Though he didn't have the time to help me adding those blow-up (final) shots.

  • I would love to do crash testes with that and having a person who fix it time after time

  • @MikkoMuhis In my vision that would be something like: Mr. Go!, Wallace and Gromit etc.

  • how much?

  • @srfedecape Eh...What?

  • lol at the pinecones shot.. aahahahahah

  • @Ikuorai I think the same, hahahaha. It was just random footage I needed to fill up empty space in the movie.

  • Ferrari won't build a proper 4 door so this guy does. I commend your skills my goos man

  • @ChristewieTV Thankyou very much.

  • can you do a burnout?

  • @cro508 Well actually that's what I want to do with my new project, but if the model isn't going to be able to do a burnout or spinning from it's own, I have to apply some other way to achieve that goal. But this model? I was very happy making this model drive. I've had many problems with driving uphill and getting the RC blocked on rough terrain. But it's good that you asked, I'll try a little harder to "make it do a burnout".

  • @beefjerky444 i was only kidding x)

even if you could do it you would also be burning a lot of energy, and then you would need a bigger battery which would be heavier and would make the car slower. which is not really worth is in the end lol

  • @cro508 Yeah I know, but maybe it's possible though with a larger non-Lego RC motor. But I don't think it's going to work out too well. Instead of making it faster I'd probably destroy the plastic parts and that would be a fail.

Maybe there's still a way, maybe I - perhaps someone else has done that already - can let Lego stuff do a burnout...who knows...I am very curious.

Aaah, I think I'll fake a burnout, I actually don''t care about the models even a bit. I only want to edit movies.

  • @beefjerky444 just make the surface oily so that the wheels spin hahah

btw you are a genius for making this!

  • @comnieto Ok, but you can also press the button and choose for 480p.

  • 2 spectators is so fuckin stupid pe cos this lego is vorld best

  • @BobTheBuilder7747 To be honest, I don't see the link between this comment and my movie, maybe you gave some compliments, but I don't understand what you're saying. Can you explain that?.

  • @beefjerky444 no i can't =D i don't understand too. that was my little brother..

  • sei italiano?

  • @DJMATTEINO Well, I don't speak Italian and I can hardly write in Italian.

Every word is taken from Italian movies (mostly Lucio Fulci's flicks), babelfish and some other dictionary sites. I even think there are lots of grammatical mistakes, but that's because I don't have any relatives or neighbours who are or speak Italian. If I'd know anyone who speaks Italian, I'd have asked for help.

  • i envy you

  • @darkmewtwo2 Wow! That's the biggest compliment ever if you ask me, haha, peace man.

  • 4 wheel drive?

  • @Cathaydude No four wheel drive system is included, but that´s part of one of my new lego projects, it´s yet to come. GT4 stands for: 4 drs. 4 seats.

What I did was adding some more stuff like Power Functions (motors, lights, etc.) and of course two extra doors and two more seats. Funny thing is, that this was also a scale model, built for a school project, during june 2010. Eight months later the Ferrari FF was released. I don't want to say that they copied me, but I'm amazed.

  • @beefjerky444 ok cool!

  • @beefjerky444 mate the ff was built long before your thing, it would have been planned years in advance

  • @Joelwcs The funny thing is: the pics and movies of the FF were published a couple of months ago this year and not years before.

Besides, I built this RC scale model during june 2010 without knowledge or expectation of the arrival of the FF.

I'm a film maker and also I do have ideas, planned years in advance, but other filmmakers have the same ideas.

Example: When someone decides to eat vannila ice cream, there are lots of people who at the same time also decide to eat some vanilla ice cream.

  • @beefjerky444 It was only a matter of time before ferrari made a car to rival the new companies such as porsche and aston with the rapide, and lambo's estoque concept (which is likely to be put in production), ferrari has made lots of attempts of four door and four seat sports cars. You may also like to know that the FF has TWO doors not for, so infact your have made something more unlike the FF as a 599 and the california are both coupe's, the california with 2+2 seating. Dude its LEGO !

  • @Joelwcs Ok dude. Is Estoque going to be put in production? Awesome!

  • but very nice litle litle power and perfect

  • production man

  • @orcovavoulas Thanks, hihaaa!

  • That's wonderfull O.o

but i dont like the rear seats :l

btw, i tuned this car...........and my video in in the related videos xD

its called lego ferrari 599 GTB fiorano tuned ugly prototype

  • I'm sure I will.

  • Excellent! I love it! Keep up the good work brother!

  • That is one amazing video, mr. Jerky. Molto rispetto!

    xoxo

  • @TheSimplicityWorks

    Jeah! Grazie!

  • Thanx dude! de joune over die SLS AMG vind ik prachtig!

  • Hahah vet Sittard!
