nice finds mate, i just bought an ace250 aswell, was orginaly using a tesoro cortes, im loacted in bedfordshire too, wondering if you'd like to go out a day out diging?
Cheers Vmax, i can see that thats what it is now, A pritty cool find then, Cheers for the info. by the way, i now use the Minelab X-Terra 70, i found a good deal on E,bay lastnite, drove near to Nottingham to pick it up. Cheers Vmax. HH
Nice to see a fellow Ace250 user out and about, well done on your finds, the spike as you described it, is a blacksmiths chisel, they use it to create the square holes in a hot horse shoe for the squared nails.
I got fed up with pulling out iron rubbish and now use the coin search preset, Just bought a 4" sniper coil that I will be trying out this weekend.
Cheers for comments guys, Do you have HomeBase or BnQ? you can atatch longer handles on the tool i use, also they have a veriaty of attachments to suit all digging needs, it a great tool. il see if i can get a link up for them.
Nice finds! Looking forward to more interesting finds. Some days clad is the lot.... Where you live anything could pop up! Hope you can point 219erman in the right direction for the digging tool. He does a lot of digging. And needs a tough tool. It does look very stout.
Great to see you get out & hunt in the cold Jay....I would like to ask...Where could I purchase a digging tool like the one you were using ?..I like the long handle,it looks very durable, and I break (on average) one digging tool a year (This year it was a garden shovel)...If you know where I could purchase one online...I would apreciate the link...Thanks ...5 Stars & Happy Hunting To You..., Dave
