This is awesome. I actually really like the way those ridiculous horn parts sound :D My only complaint is the weird echo that Finale Songwriter has...makes some of the arrangement hard to hear. Really good job, man. Check out my shorter arrangement if you want--it's much less complete than this but i'm sure i had as much fun doing it as you had doing this!
Other than a vaguely unclear melody line due to the melody being in the horns and Finale being renowned for smooth sounding horns, this is fucking ridiculous. Congratulations sir.
I like this but the horn parts aren't the issue other than the high notes. Its great for the horn to have the moving line but the trumpets are really low for them. Its not impossible but not really practical.
@SarahLouiseIrving the trumpet is a beautiful instrument and creates one of the most beautiful and regal sounds in an orchestra but the french horn provides the mellow sound this song has and i dont think the trumpet could have done it as well as a french horn
It sounds different with the horns above the trumpets like that. I'm guessing you're a horn player or maybe you just wanted a "different sound" but I think the melody is a little clouded FWIW

This is fantastic! The original Hide and Seek sounds much better than Hide and Seek 2 for brass ensemble. I did an arrangement for solo horn, brass ens, and electronics and, though pretty cool, the original's harmonies sound wayy cooler. Great job!
