ever tried locking all diffs and giving it full stick while turning the truck. make sure you do it on slippery surface (unsealed dirt for greatest visual effect)and give your self a bit of space.
its recommended that you come to a stop when changing gears and locking diffs to avoid damage to the gears
hey bro well i just got into this rc stuff and thinking about getting one does all staock go threw water and mydd or do you have to buy water proof servo and stuff??? please comment me back
I see, Awesome bro! im really interested on getting this truck today but im just really confused maybe MGT 8.0 is better or savage flux, what do you think? Other peeps please help me! thansk! =D
Personnaly I would say get the Traxxas Summit. Why you ask? A: It already has lights on it. B: You get remote locking diffs in it. C: It has a high (25:1)-low (70:1) transmission on transmitter. also i do not know if the driver in the vid had the diffs locked and in low transimission or not so that can effect the way it crawls but i suggest the summit all the way!
Awesome video! bro, just a question, did you ever break your axles? and diffs? coz from what i've heard and red from the forums, those things breaks so fast! and do you have to be completely stopped to lock diffs? and change gear ratios? thanks!
I have not broken any yet. I have a customer who did though. I normally move real slow when changing diffs. This truck is like any other, somethings will be weak points but it is a lot of fun.
try adding 72 tooth big sprocket and 12 or 14 tooth outer sprockets for rock crawling but make sure u have the metal dog bones or u will twist your drivelines alot.
Right now Venom 5000 8.4vs. Soon I will be running Max Amps 4700's. The Summit is getting about 40-45 minutes run time on these. The same batteries last 25-30 minutes in the E-Maxx.
How long does the Brushed motor last and how did you break it in?
