@wrider95 My guess is you are using Microsoft's crappy Internet Explorer. IE is retarded as it doesn't recognize files in their raw state. You can try extracting to ipsw, or just use another amazing browser such as Safari, Chrome, or Firefox. That could explain why iTunes isn't finding it because it is in the incorrect file format.

@shivajid this is the old version of this process. Click on one of the annotations to watch the new version. Error 1604 is fine, the downgrade worked. You are just stuck in recovery mode, and the only way to get out of it is to use RecBoot.
