The springboard lifts the athelete up, if you pause right after the jump you can see the springboard lashing backward, yet the athelete is going very far forward? Where does he get that kind of power from? Normally from his own forward speed, which would not nearly be enough to cover that distance.

Why I bothered to write this? I like analysing, its still a very good video...

It says that it happened in a controlled environment, that doesn't mean it is fake only pre-planed and that EMT's are standing by in case something goes wrong.

Definately not a random event at a competition but it could be a stunt performed for a movie or commercial.

its fake, the camera zooms out just in time to see the entire even take action. also, if you look really close, and replay it a few times, you'll see that his flying mid air at edited in because his motions of flailing in the air identically repeat 3 times.

therefore, according to my research and careful observation, i have come to the conclusion that this video, although well done, is a fraud.
