Im Cherokee Indian & 1/4 Norwegian. Ive lived on a reservation and experienced some racism. You will always find a bad apple in the barrel but especially in the work place there is little to no racism. Could be youre one of the bad apples and guilty. I agree w/Spike there's a disconnect between whites/blacks on how some things are viewed. Blacks see slavery/Jim Crow as "current events" and whites see it as "ancient history". I think blacks are a bit closer to the truth on this one.
But, Spike's comments on blacks pols being angry misses the point. If blacks want to run for national offices like Senate and President, they must have huge white support. Angry candidates will NEVER get it. Obama comes across as pleasant, not angry.
