My dad was a total tough guy. He started watchind Regis and Kathy, while he was recovering from his surgery. My dad talked & talked about this segment with David and Shaun on Regis and Kathy. I just remember him saying... "They really can sing."

If you haven't seen Blood Brothers i highly recommend it to you regardless of who'll be in it. I saw it just before christmas and loved it instantly. Apparently its know in the "industry" as the standing ovation musical and i see why now as everyone to a person stood up at the end and clapped their socks off :)

This show was the best live show I have seen. Petula Clark played their mom, and OMG...when they say "not a dry eye in the house", there was NO exaggeration here. No hullabaloo about them all being teen sensations, they were just actors doing an amazing acting job. I tried not to cry because I had lots of non-waterproof liquid eyeliner, but I just LOST it. I had no idea what I was in for. They did that thing where they all linked together to make this incredibly powerful flawless ensemble.
I think the person who made the original comment about them being twins, was referring to the characters in the musical....who ARE twins seperated at birth only to meet again with tragic consequences.
I love the way the guys sound together and I adore the way Shaun has a smile lurking closely while he sings...and that little conductor twirl at the end of the song....

Actually, although I did like Adam Ant, I wasn't a "big fan". It was just one of those things where something sparked a memory for me and I ran with it. Just like right now I am looking up a bunch of things on the Cassidy family for fun. Their music brings up such great memories, all of them. Shirley in some of my favorite musicals, Shirley and David in the Partridge Family and of course Shaun back in his teen idol days. Who knows which "memory lane" I will stroll down next.
The 60's 70's and 80's were the best years for music I think. The music in the charts is not same nowadays. You will notice I have a few of Adam and the Ants records on my profile and anything from the 60's onwards

Actually, although I did like Adam Ant, I wasn't a "big fan". It was just one of those things where something sparked a memory for me and I ran with it. Just like right now I am looking up a bunch of things on the Cassidy family for fun. Their music brings up such great memories, all of them. Shirley in some of my favorite musicals, Shirley and David in the Partridge Family and of course Shaun back in his teen idol days. Who knows which "memory lane" I will stroll down next.
