yes it does... doesnt the whole war in the game start because of this? the guy you play in this level is american thats why they added it in here...

no it starts because of hmm forgot lol not sure this is like the 3rd level though. the only point of this is a guy going undercover to find out what the terrorists are doing and it leads to him dying. and after the americans are pissed off so they attack making the terrorists pissed off so they fight back and start bombing dc and ya.
