  • Nice job on the turbos. Sounds great!

  • fellas yes GM has been using turbos for sometime now. but these are rear mounted turbosTo the exhaust .. big difference

  • Turbo 6s are nothing new to GM. Remember the GN, 89 Turbo TA, Syclone & Typhoon. Look up videos on GNs and see how fast they run with 1 turbo on the V6. $1500 put my 87 GN in the 11s.

The GTR is an awesome car, but I would never pass up an aluminum 427 that makes more power and gets better gas mileage. There are several Z06s making over 800 rwhp on 93 octane.

  • I am a GTR guy as well, but come on people for every GTR and Z06/ZR1 video out there, they don't all need to be turned in to a competition. Badass car sounds sick as well.

  • You're right on that but not everyone can be perfect! :)

  • 10-15000 less? Don't make me laugh! You can get a Z06 for around the mid 60s, what are the GTRs selling for? And for a V6, the GTR sure is thirsty.

  • new for new the gtr cost round 90 at a dealership and a zo6 cost bout 90 but the gtr is soposed to be 69,000 but the dealerships rape you on it

  • Great deals can be made on the Z06 right now, especially since the ZR1 is coming out. I purchased my 07 Z06 for $67,800 last year when it was new, with Nav, telescoping wheel and chrome wheels, not the base package.

  • z06 goes for 73 loaded bro

  • i got my Z06 lemans blue/nav/chrome wheels/everthing but On*Star for 77,030 back in 07

  • not exactly...

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha thats funny and your wrong

  • haha you are fuckin retarded buddy, Nissan won't even let you "tune" the new GTR it comes one way. SHITTY!

  • Thats a pretty bold statement they are both really nice cars. You have to admit a 6 cylinder motor that does what th gtr does counts for something. No it is no tt z06 but still sick.

  • Fellow00 no offense you are wrong there, you can tune the GTR but it is very expensive to do so as anything cost when dealing with modifying a cars performance. But with just upgrading the exhaust, performance chip and ECU flash the GTR gets cranked up to 600-700hp so that shows that once again the GTR was made for tuning and for a v6 it puts a hurt on the competition it goes against (big v8+ engines). Don't believe me then look it up before being ignorant about this.

  • sorry but your wrong bro and honestly yea if you dont care about warrenty then fine buy the gtr and modify it and have an unreliable car that if it breaks its on you to pay for it ...ill take the stock z06 that has a 5 year warrenty and take it to the drags and auto x's and if it breaks ill push my little onstar button tell them to come get the car give them the keys and tell them to fix it hahah

  • it may be under warranty now, but when it isn't u'll pay premium for a GMPP. As its price just increase this fiscal year already. and, the new LS7 doesn't have the potential or reliability as the new LS3. Notice they built the ZR1 from an LS3 block...but u may already know this debate if u are a member of CF

  • @donkeykong141

Lol that's not why they used an LS3 block (that's all they used, the rest of the engine is completely different)

They used the lower displacement because lower compression + lower displacement = a more affordable F/I engine with lots of power.

Potential or reliability? They can make 700+ whp COMPLETLEY stock.

    SHUT the FUCK up retard!

  • @Trollensteinowitz stock bottom ends on most of these LS engines can handle about 1200 hp.. not saying the pistons and rings will but the cranks and rods will. as far as boost, i'd say 15 to 17 lbs 600-900 hp easy on pump gas

  • @voodoospacelounge Twin Turbo Corvette makes 1244rwhp on pump gas

  • @voodoospacelounge Twin Turbo Corvette makes 1244rwhp on pump gas

type this in, its a z06 built by lmr...verry sick

  • About 100hp more actually Mine was able to get about 580hp out of the GTR. Still pretty kick ass though.

  • yea bro your correct actually if you use the launch controle in the car it voids your warrenty hahaha my dads friend bought one thats how i no

  • As long as you give the car 15-20min rest between LC uses then it is impossible to break the GTR using it's LC system and plus it's only under certain occasion that it will void your warranty not 100% of the time. My cousin owns Marlborough Nissan in MA so i should know...

  • what does your cousin owning a car dealership have anything to do with you knowing dick about cars?

  • @curtomic7 good point

  • so you SHOULD....but you DON'T

  • i bought an 2008.5 cobalt ss turbocharged i use launch control on a weekly basis, alot of ricers and tuners in my area. i know the mechanic at my dealer and ive talked to him about launch control and how to properly use the no lift shift. my warranty doesnt go void they promote running there cars hard

  • @kriduel shes thay back there stuff i like it

  • OMG!!!

  • Hell Yeah for the money there is no Ferrari, Lambo, Ford GT or even the new ZR-1 that can even come close!! And get the same power and fuel Mileage! That car is over 30mpg and under boost and only 5 psi it's over 600 rear wheel, Stock was 430.

  • FUCK!!!!
