You're right about that but I do remember this guy talking about the gas prices dropping back when it was 3.80 a gallon. They did come down. Now he's talking about a dollar devaluation of 30 to 50% so I'm listening and preparing for it as I have been. I'm buying hard assets and paying down the last of my debt (the mortgage). I should have the mortgage to zero this year. Then I'll be well positioned to weather the hard times.

No food shortage but the dollar will devalue 30 to 50% in 2010 so you should buy stuff now before your dollars become worth less. No war with Iran for 1.5 years. back when oil was around 40-50$ a barrel last year Lindsey was on the Alex Jones show pumping some new "insider information" BS that he was told by leaders in the oil industry that they would never let oil get above 50$ a barrel for the next year. Within the year it was around 75-80

I agree with you on having emergency food stores and more then just 2-4 weeks. 3-6 months is a minimum!

Freeze dried is a good investment. You could put away enough for 1 year and forget about it. When you are old you might need it. Or will it to someone when you die. If you cant afford it. Do what you can a little at a time.
