I was in 9th grade, in my biology class, when the dean of students came on the intercom and told the whole school that the towers had been hit. I remember everything. Later that day, amidst the chaos, my English teacher told us, "The towers are gone." I said "Gone?!" All he responded with was "They're gone..." I so distinctly remember trying to picture in my head how two buildings that big could just collapse, and be gone. It was so scary and confusing. I'll never forget that day...
Damn! I always realized the seriousness of the collapse, but I've never seen a clip of the second collapse from start to finish. All of that debris and smoke, I never new it traveled through the city at the magnitude. My god no wonder people were just recently showing signs of being affected by this event that happened almost a decade ago which people were suffering from respiratory problems.
I was only 6 when this happened. my mom came and got me from my classroom and rushed me home. the t.v was on and there was a tower burning and then, watching the t.v, a second plane hit. i was so scared because even though i was six, i knew a lot of people had died and even more were about too. We continued to watch the t.v, and then later the towers collapsed and me, my mom, my dad, and my brother stood in shock, knowing our country was under attack. R.I.P victims of 9/11 we will remember you!
This is just absolutely unbelievably horrible. I cannot believe how they came down. All that smoke. And you can see the plane hit...God bless those who died. This makes me cry. Its horrific.
damn that was bad, I was about 8 years old when this happened. I was camping with my family and my grandparents were still on there way and I was playing with my sister when suddenly my dad rushes out of the camper looking pale as a ghost while my mom was listening to the radio looking exactly the same and before I could ask what was going on I see our camping neighbors do the same thing and i turned my head and saw on another TV the first tower burning and I firgured it out.
I remember wen I was like in JK and this happened... I was wiht my mom in a mall when we saw this on TV... My mom stared at the TV and all i saw were sum burning towers... I didn't know what was going on and I never knew that very moment that I almost lost my uncle to Al Qaeda (if i spelled it right)
There is practically no chance of the "inside job". I mean bombs? I'm pretty sure that people planting bombs in buildings would have been a little obvious, especially in New York city.
You are absolutely spot on, it is obvious that it isn't fake. But like anything that is obviously true if you pry and pry into it you will come across some things that are hard to explain and this is where conspiracies are born.
It really gets to me when I hear all the conspiracies about this after such a massive and devastating loss of life. It was nice to read your message because these days I feel like the only one who believes the truth...it should be remembered as a tragedy not treason...
My mother woke me up with a phone call when the news started reporting, I quickly ran to my roof top above my Brooklyn apartment just minutes before the 2nd plane did hit the south tower. I had a very clear view of everything.
when i was 8 years old, i visited the towers..... then when I was 22 years old I moved to NY to study from mexico city. So far I cannot believe why some americans keep saying that the attack was fake ..... well, I guess it is because they did not see it
yeah me too my uncle used to work there as a construction worker that day i was worried about my uncle thankfully i heard he was just 4 blocks away from the towers!!
I lived in Manhattan in 9/11 2001... my mom was evacuated from work & my school was closed down the next day. Everyone was going crazy & from my school window you could see the smoke in the air, but not the actual buildings.
I was in the 6th grade when it happened I had no idea what was going on while it happened. But I will never forget coming home seeing my mom and my dad sitting down watching CNN recap. I went to see what they were watching and the first thing i saw was the second plane hit. I will never forget it
I remember it clearly as well. I was only 10 years old. I'm guessing I was in fifth grade. Such a terrible event...the first sign, the first horrible sign of is rumored to happen soon.
why do ppl think this was fake?? its obvious they have no life other than to try to prove something was fake when it was real i was there in 4th grade in my school we had the view of the towers
I live in New York, but I couldn't see the towers. I had no school the day before. I feel bad for all of the innocent victims & their families. Definately a terrible day.
I remember i was in year 6 when this happened. I came home from school (it was the afternoon in england) and i didnt understand why there were burning buildings on every TV station. Only when i see it now i realise how gut wrentching and sad it really was. I remember in the late afteroon some kids rode past my house and said "have you seen the towers falling down, its well cool!!" And my mum shouted at them. :(
Thank you for this. There are people wanting to claim that there "were no planes involved" and that the news media tricked people with special effects. Personal witnesses need to stand up against such stupidity and testify this is what they also saw with their own eyes.
i remember i was like 10 or something when this happened , i came home from school and saw one of the towers burning but i didnt get what was going on
I remember sitting in the reading area in 3rd grade with a television. Then I remember my mom calling my classroom in tears asking if I was ok.. My god, I had no idea what was going on. Looking at it now is like, wow, unbelievable. I understand what happened now.
i was in the tower on the 36th floor i had a lunch break at the time when i saw that i had to go through major therapy cause allot of my freinds died my best freind was on a lunch break with me.
i remember it too, i was in 5th grade, we were outside the school waiting for school to start and the principal ran outside and said there was a terrorist attack in new york, and we all ran in and watch on TVs throughout the school and we were all scared
i was in fourth grade and had no idea how gut wrenching it is to watch this nw. to hear ppl cry and scream at this is terrible but we need to know what happened.
I was in the 2nd grade and my family was stationed in Germany when this happened. I couldn't imagine being in the debrie and smoke when the last tower fell. It would be too much for me to handle with the death and chaos.
i was in 6 grade, and the teachers wouldn't say anything but i overheard them say a plane hit a building, they didn't say what kind, i thought it was a personal plane, and i came house and turned on the news, and realized what had happened...

I was working at Borders Bookstore at 5 World Trade Center. The first blast shook, actually rocked, the building and we all evacuated fast. EVeryone accounted for and fine. Not all of us can say that we witnessed history, but I can certainly say it. All for those who were too young to understand at the time, it was a horrible day ever experienced, but I hope you get to witness the type of history that is beautiful and memorable at the same time.
I remember this... it was in fourth or fifth grade when this hapened. I was in the general area. Flight eleven took off from boston and i was living in a suburb of that town. And the flight 93 plane actually went over our neighborhood.
It was the middle of the night in New Zealand and I remember being woken up by my mother who had burst into my room saying "america has been attacked." I was groggy with sleep and I remember thinking "what? By Canada?" I turned on the tv and then over the next few hours the world changed a little bit. It was a very surreal day.

I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing this day. I was in 8th grade working on a report in my class when we were told to turn on the tv. I remember the time between classes was a blur of people crying and running to the next class to watch the news. My teacher's brother-in-law was one of the lucky few that called in sick to work that day. I don't live anywhere near New York, but even us hicks lost loved ones up there. I remember I was scared as hell that day.
I was in year 11 (age 15) at school i only found out about it after school because i live in the England. I remember it like it was yesterday and i will never ever forget.
I was in the eigth grade. Mom woke us with "TWO PLANES HIT THE WORLD TRADE CENTER". I turned on the TV and was shocked! I will take the images of the towers falling to my grave.
I was in fourth grade when this happend.. My birthday is Septemeber the 10th so.. I remember my mom wakeing me up saying: " KATIE WAKE UP! THE BIGGEST BUILDING IN NEW YORK HAS COLLAPSED! " I shot out of bed and ran into the living room where I saw my sister crying on the couch. I looked at the TV and I saw them raise the American Flag.. At that point.. I was dissolved in tears. RIP <3
CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!! SOOO SHOCKIN! TO THIS DAY IT SADDENS ME SOOOOOO MUCH TO SEE AND KNOW WOT HAPPEND, TRULY HOPE ALL THE VICTIM ARE RESTIN IN PEACE!!!!!!! GOD BLESS!!!
