Many Men and Women during the miners strike defied violence and scorning intimidation to defend their rights to uphold our laws {democratic strikes}. Some of the ruthless manipulative militant minority were able to take over the Unions but they weren't the true representatives of the majority. You can not negotiate with fanatics, that use coercion and violence to achieve their objectives. These type of people are enemies of democracy and use their position for there own purposes.

The IRA nearly got her in Brighton in 1985 I believe. Of course if they did get her Briton might be a better place today. I hate to advocate killing anybody but she reaped what she sowed. She was a very evil leader who clearly hated freedom and democracy.

Margaret Thatcher is an evil cunt who like Reagan worked for the impoverishment of the many for the benefit of a few. That legacy came to fruition in 2008 with billions of taxpayer's money used to bail out private banks. So much for "free" enterprise. Fuck Thatcher, burn in hell.

As a Brit and proud Thatcherite, I think Meryl Streep is so well cast. Her uncanny resemblance to Thatcher in this film is just a small part of it. Meryl is so apt at being able to project strength, interspersed with vulnerability and emotion, portraying a realistic and moving character. Meryl's acting skill makes her one of very few actresses who could come close to doing the Iron Lady justice. I have not seen the film yet but as soon as it is open in theaters in my area I will be seeing it.

@BNPpatriot None of the bankers I know are Zionists, they are Quakers or atheists. Also Margret Thatcher turned Britain from the sick man of Europe, in the winter of discontent, covered in rubbish bags, with blackouts and phone lines that did not work when it was raining, into a property owning booming economy. She corrected and endured the painful transition of a deeply flawed economic model which was holding the country to ransom.
