Thank you so much for such an easy instructional. I was able to pause when I thought you were going too fast, and playback several times. Like everybody else has said, the books and pictures do NOT help at all!! You, my friend, were a great teacher!! Thank you for posting this! I know a whole bunch of people will be learning this stitch!
Thanks so much for this tutorial! All the graphs, charts and books just confused me. You teach wonderfully and are appreciate you sharing your talent and patience!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. This is the best by far, I have tried all the others I have not got the hang of it, not even the DVD I bought. I have wasted a lot of thread, even the books I bought didn't help.
You are simply a wonderful teacher. I am going to back to peyote stitch this weekend.
THANK YOU, Svetlana... that was an EXCELLENT lesson. I was freaked out about learning this stitch, as I am a beginner, but you are a gifted instructor. Thank you, so much for sharing this stitch so skillfully! I look forward to watching more of your video instruction. Thanks, again!
I have watch a few videos on peyote stitch and this one has been the best so far. You do a good job explaining in normal terms for people that do not bead all the time and know the beading terms.
Thank you so much! I haven't had money for classes, but I have a lot of trouble understanding the pictures in instructional books, this really helped.
Using your great instructions, I made my first little patch of odd count peyote stitched beads last night! How fun. The part about 'flipping' the piece over to thread beads in the opposite direction helped so much.
Nice video, you do a good job explaining the peyote stitch. I will watch this several times!
Next time you make a video, consider using a darker thread that contrasts with the background - sometimes it was hard for me to see the thread, and a darker color would have helped.
In your opinion, which should a beginner learn first: an even count peyote stitch or an odd count stitch?
I actually found it useful that a lighter thread was used, because I could see how the stitches were being made more easily. Just a different perspective/ opinion.
Thanks for a great video! I'm definitely feeling inspired. I'm already thinking of ways I want to use it!

I plan to try an even count stitch next.
Thanks again for very informative instructions.

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad it's helpful and I'll try to pick up a better thread next time.
Even count peyote is a lot easier, so I'd try that first. Once you are comfartable with even count peoyte, you can try the odd count and experiment.
Happy Beading!
