NaClu2!
So, I love YouTube. I was looking for Gong from the Canterbury Scene and stumbled across this instead in my search results. Great find - thank you for the upload. :)
Esta canción es de mis favoritas, me mata emocionalmente, pero necesito escucharla de vez en cuando. Me encanta como usan la batería y el instrumento que usa Jonsi. Gracias por subirla. Saludos.
omg im sorry but this song is soo beautiful in so many ways. His voice is so high pitched and yet he continues to go even louder. I also love the background music.=)
Yeah very under rated song really, it's actually quite a fierce song I think especially with a big crushendo like that, paints a mental picture of a battle that the hero only just wins having been thought dead to me at least
@archipelligo wow that is almost exactly what I picture with the beginning of this song song. A grassland or brown wasteland with some type of epic battle with woodland people. That and dying in a natural disaster and seeing paradise at the end
I think that Sigur Rós' makes interactive music, 'coz they creat an atmosphere with the instruments and the voice, and we give direction to the trip by creating our own lyrics for each song. Cheers!
@ThanatosSagenev I think Sigur Ros makes music like Sigur Ros chooses to. THe human vocal cords (in this case) act as just another instrument, the centrifugal force. Therefore, lyrics are totally irrelevant for transport music of this caliber. Cheers back at ya!
@sandermeijer LA CANCION SE LLAMA GONE ESTA ES LA LETRA you said i suffered a lot but you`re right gone you said i suffered a lot but you´re right gone now you should have found the time a quite lone moon you should have shown all the time a quite lone moon you should have found a friend just as you are you should have found that you lost you!!! you`ve shone high as a flyier you now inspire lots you`ve shone high as a flyier you´ve sung right gone
@sandermeijer LA CANCION SE LLAMA GONE ESTA ES LA LETRA you should have found who`s shone as flyier you should have shared love you should've fought for loves what you`ve lost you should have justified that you lost your love you should have justified that you joined awe you should have fought for lost your lie seems awkward you lost, you lost, you knows you lost, your lies, you knows you lost, you lost
@huglecammar you knows, your lies, your lies, your lies are just yours your lies are yours your lies you`re lier you lose you!!! whisper the sound of it you should have done like that whisper the sound of it you should have done like that whisper the sound of it you should have done like that you!!
I love Sigur Ros' music, but I'd hardly say they're an important part in my life. They are inspirational, but to go so far and say I couldn't go without them is silly.
Agreed! I am blown away by Sigur Ros and Jonsi's voice- they are simply amazing...I get shivers listening to them.Only Iceland could have produced Sigur Ros!!!
He wait a minute, the song after this which blends into it is missing-- it contains one of Amiina's best string spotlights. Is it on youtube? It's track 9 on the CD.
It seems to me like Orri has a small snare drum on top of the floor tom, cause right by the end u dont see the small snare on it anymore. I LOVE this song, but it seems like they played it a little too fast?
It looks more like a hi-hat near the beginning of the clip. I get the same effect putting a splash on a tom. I don't have the luxury of a 16 inch tom at the moment, but when I do, and if I happen to have any spare hats lying around, hehehe...
I got it from Sigur Rós' official website. Check out in download/videos, at the bottom of that section there's a link, click there and it'll take u to a page with a lot of Sigur Rós' videos.
Thats fuckin creepy it sounds just like album version ......wtf is going on here?

They're playing it faster because it's live and they're all excited as hell, quite justifiably.
So passionate...
The little 8-bit Yamaha VSS sampling keyboard that does all the bat-vocals is Jonsi's favourite bit of kit, apparently.

There are 2 types of persons in this world:
- The ones who are not able to feel Sigur Ros Music; this people may not tolerate Jonsi's voice and uncommon sounds.
- The ones who can feel Sigur Ros Music; they feel every single sound from every song and Sigur Ros becomes an important part of their life.
I am one of those who can feel Sigur Ros music and they are an important part of my life.
