Let me tell you now that those ramps are not that great. They work for small sized turtles like yours but once they grow big they just don't work. So you'll need to build your own basking area for it in the near future. You should maximize the tank capacity by filling it to the top with water. I recommend that you build an above tank basking area for your turtles. 10 gal. water per inch of shell is ideal.

yeah my dad is going to help me build one out of wood and since there;s a hole where the filter goes in order to fill it up all the way i have to close that up with glass and when I got the tank i got that 25$ basking spto for free so im gonna build an external one in like four or five months

today i bought my turtle a new filter, some pebbles ( i know they eat them but my turtle is wired he doesnt even try) and we put fish in also we got him a basking light that works as well as a heat lamp

well he is actually VERY small for his age i took him to the vet and he said its nothing to worry about hell have a growlth spert soon.

thank you, yeah they did get bigger and fatter lol I've been feeding them a bit 2 much so I have to watch their weight. Yep its a better idea to have the heater sideways for turtles atleast.

it gets pretty warm but not exactly hot cause I have it set for 77 degrees so I guess its ok:)
