This is a good video. You know, I hope Peter wins, but if he doesn't I would like to know how the hell people like Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar can get to the senate, yet Peter can't. 1. You can only vote if you paid taxes in the last 4 years. 2. You can only vote if you have a 99% English speaking literacy rate. 3. Did you know that the Hamilton Tariff Act of 1789 protected American Workers from cheap foreign labor untill the end of WW1. The tariff was the governments number 1 source of income.

GM and Chrysler went down the tubes because they made cars. Other car manufactures, mostly forigen, took the attitude/focus "we are going to build the best car". GM management is shit...look at the Hummer line. They butchered it. Married women in there 50's and 60's drive them. WTF. Union workers did not cause the problems our automotive industry is having. Duty free cars from Japan was the destructive blow to our auto industry. Reagan forced them by threat of tariff if they didn't invest(build Plants) in the U.S.
That effectivly destroyed our industry, because american auto producer had a 2000 dollar cost, for their retired workes on the front of every car sale. That gave the Japanese an edge on our market. That should not have happened.

No offense taken, Would the founders allow our country to be flooded to the point we cannot find a product make in our own country. Would they allow our industry to move off shore and export the manufactured goods back into the country duty free. Would they expect their countrymen to compete with .20/hr, third world, unregulated labor (which is impossible), Would they allow 20 million illegal immigrants to walk across our borders, and drive working peoples wages even lower.

Start with the TAFT-HARTLEY ACT and go from there.....the minimum wage, .....I mean it would take an entire website devoted to only that issue. 2) If you came from a middleclass family, you father was probably a union member, or his wages or salary was based on the union wages of the day. When union wages went up, salary, midline managment, professionals all went up proportionally. Just be honest; you believe unions should be legal,but have no bargening power, no ability to strike, just legal but have no power, that is the same as being illegal. Do you invest in the .20/hr Chinese market, if you do that explains your position.

Governments don't force unions to strike, they back unions with laws and political power and threats. I grew up rather lower middle class and my dad worked his ass off. What I am for is the enforcement of the laws of men stated in the Declaration of Independence and the US Constituion....which is not the current case.

I don't think that was the video I was referencing. His book was written back in 2002 and is already a best seller. The point of his interview was about the monetary system. You should watch the videos of the Judge Napolitano, Peter schiff and particularly the ones entitled "educate yourself" they are brief and very informative.

Assassinations are more rare than you think. The bankers might assassinate a president who isn't their man, but assassinating a Senator? Usually isn't worth the cost to them.
Remember, if he is assassinated he becomes a Martyr and millions flock to his banner. That is definitely NOT what the bankers want.
Not all of Congress supports the bankers - only about 40%. Don't let them make you paranoid.

Peter had been wanting people to kiss his butt for months and if enough do the deed....pathetic approach. A leader leads and does not have to beg to develop a spine. Stand up or sit down. I signed on to his initial webstie for updates and the only repsonse is weekly emails from an out of state entity asking for money to help his cause. If I have to buy his presence......FLUSH

If you look a bit closer you will find that he is excepting the call from his supporters running was not his idea. His response is that if enough people want him to run then he will and the way that he will judge that is by donations to his campaign. In addition, if he does not get the response he is looking for then he will return every penny that was donated to his campaign to those who donated it.
Take a closer look hes an honorable man and is sound Economically & Fiscally. Hes what we need!

If we get back to the founding principals of the Constitution, the states would have control of "abortion" and many other decisions that were usurped by the federal gov. If some states banned abortion, than those who are anti-abortion could move there and be content. I'm personally looking for one with NO INFRINGEMENTS on gun rights.

You can not have liberty and force a decision upon another human being. no matter what religion you are. the whole point of liberty is that your not answering to anyone else, you choose. As long as the constitution stands , we still have freedom of choice. REMEMBER, congress shall make no law. thats the real problem, they make blanket laws now. 50 % like it, 50% hate it. thats why the founders said no to blanket laws.

If you believe abortion is murder, and that over 1million are killed by it every year, trust me when I say it is very hard to pull the lever for a politician who believes it's merely a "social issue" and not a liberty one.
I think all us Ron Paulers are looking for a candidate who will stick it to the man... but at what cost? I can't trade the most basic principle of and right of life for political expediency. I agree with Schiff on everything else, but if we disagree fundamentally on life...

You (tmarsha4) realize that your stance on abortion is basically an affirmative stance on controlling other people's bodies and what they do with them. If somebody can't afford to raise a child properly, or is not responsible enough to do so, then what gives you the right to say they must have the child? What a woman does with her own body is her own business, not yours. The Federal Government under the Constitution should not have a say in abortion, and it should be solely up to the states.

We agree. No one can say what we can and can't do to our bodies, so long as we do not inflict harm on someone else while doing this. But the baby is a unique, separate body. For example, If I could somehow fit inside your body, would I cease to be a unique person?
You go through a length diatribe as to why Abortion is necessarily as an issue of "responsibility" and "right of body", yet we draw the same conclusion. Right now, the states have no power to rule on it UNTIL "personhood" his defined.

If it lives inside you against your will, leeches off your blood supply in order to survive, and could cost you considerably monetarily, mentally, and physically in the immediate future, then you should have a right to kill it, parasite, bacterium, virus, or fetus.
I can understand how an argument could be made to not abort after some later stage of fetal development but in the early stages there should be no issue with having an abortion.

I am as Pro-Life as Ron Paul, and would vote 100% exactly the same way as well as introduce the "Right to Life Act" that he does every year. You know he spoke at the March for Life? Was endorsed by Jane Roe (From Roe v. Wade)? I find it hard that you find it hard to believe Ron Paul's a personal hero.
Perhaps you shouldn't have the kneejerk reaction to call me a neocon, simply because I think all humans should have a right to Life. Even Jefferson criticized abortion.
