This is one of my favorite anime. Only just now was I able to get the manga because a store was selling most of the volumes for like $1.40 each. I have the first 18 volumes, and just need the final three. I'm up to volume 10, now, which is basically just past everything the anime covered. Man, I wish Gainax wouldn't do an anime with the perceived mindset that they'll never get canceled. Episodes 25 and 26 looked like a goddamn mess (just like Eva), and I missed out on the full manga story. Damn

I have to admit, I like the English dub better. :D Tsubasa sounds more like a spoiled brat, and Yukino's voice suits her wacky personality.

Whoever who liked Kare Kano should give FLCL a try. It is hard to understand and can be a little too wacky at times but at 6 episodes, you can finish it in under 3 hours. Lots of zany fun guaranteed.

Tsubasa stole her picture from Arima's (Yukino's boyfriend's) wallet, tore it and threw it into the incinerator - along with constantly phyiscally attacking her earlier, telling her how much she shouldn't be with him, and trying to frame her for being violent towards Tsubasa.

Yukino's wrath is pretty well-placed. And is also really scary, and really really hilarious.

It's hazy, but I'm pretty sure it was just some random girl we never meet prior in the manga. And if my memory serves me correctly, we never find out much about her. Any Asaba fan would dissaprove.

I watched the anime again not too long ago and I dunno, I think Asaba might be gay for Arima, and only really like girls for their admiration.

I read and collected the manga, but I'm pretty sure I always liked the anime series better for its regular crazier-than-the-manga scenes.

Actually, he ends up falling for Arimas-Miyazawa's daughter. I've read the whole series, it may sound weird,but no other girl ever seemed to fit. I'm assuming he's bi, because he might have gone for men if Arimas daughter hadn't caught his eye LOL

well I never could find the english dub version, which does not give me confidence in that version. The sub is actually very good but one version on the internet lacks many lines and the lines appear out of sync in general with the dialogue while the other version is mostly very good.
