This was great. I am a ZZ Top fan and I went to see them at the Desert Diamond Casino just south of Tucson back in 2009 after they had finished their tour in Phoenix. It was only $30 and the place was probably the smallest venue they played at about 150 people. It was great you could walk right up to the stage!

David only had a day or two to learn the lyrics and play this song. Remember he had to do 3 songs for Top 2 on Tuesday plus learn all the songs and choreography moves for the finale on Wednesday. I think he did a great job considering the limited amount of time he had in one week. Look for his videos during the Declaration Tour, and you'll see some awesome guitar work from David and his lead guitarist Neal Tiemann.

Actually, he did move his right hand off the frets, unfortunately everytime they were zoomed in on his hands was during a segment where the chords weren't really changing. If you go back and really watch his hands, you will see the right hand move a few times. He does actually know how to play the guitar and that was his own guitar. I think he'd be the first to admit that Billy Gibbons is a better guitar player than him though.
