@MrPrinceOFpa, I usually dont argue with morons, but I just don't get how u think that just because i named a few antiwar songs by metal bands to make a point, u feel the need to criticize me for liking them as if they're the only bands I listen to. This hits the nail on the head so much, because the media and the defense contractors have made billions of dollars capitalizing on people's emotions. Any time you have a question about something that isn't what you saw on tv , they say "uh uh, 911, remember 911" perverting the tragedy to profit. They managed to turn a horrible tragedy into a media circus and a fear campaign in one fell swoop.
I can't speak for them obviously, but I don't think Matt and Trey are making fun of the incident but how Alan Jackson used the tragic event in order to sell records
im sure Osama Bin Laden, is dead, why wouldent they kill him and toss him in the ocean? and have no video or any thing? thats right , cause hes dead ......

I do not see the humor in this clip. I do watch South Park with a sense humor, but this is one thing I do not find funny. I guess they are making fun of Alan Jackson and not 9/11, but his song is a tribute to 9/11, and I think this is so disrespectful and a slap in the face to make fun of it. I'm probably going to get lots of dislikes, and that's ok, we're all entitled to our own opinions.
@jtecl1818 i disagree with that point, sure 9/11 was a horrible thing and may all those who died rest in peace. but south park makes fun of all things and people, like jews, blacks, muslims, death, war, all of it. im not saying that you're wrong for saying that, but what i am saying is that we all shouldn't be surprised and take things to seriously with south park.
@raz1d You do bring up some good points, and like I said I do watch South Park with a sense of humor. Every once in awhile they do have an episode that I have a hard time laughing at though...I guess that's the serious side coming out in me!lol You are right, they do make fun of EVERYTHING, and things shouldn't be taken so seriously, but I guess there are some subjects that I am more sensitive about.
HAHAHA! wow, did you really just say "yankee"? you know that's what the union soldiers were referred to as right? well i guess you are a supporter of the "good ole American way".
I think you need to take a history class before you write on here. Because what you just said does not define America. Gilded age with corruption, and pretty much all of its timeline with slavery, and denying basic rights to most of its citizens, making life harder for the laborer. and you say our government is a bunch of lies, yet im willing to bet you were pissed off when wikileaks came out, yet it was exposing the lies. Very contradictory.
Um... actually pop stations write patriotic songs as well. Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp to name a few people. And alot of rock songs have hidden meanings with patriotic undertones, not straightforward like country songs that have to appeal to those who need songs to be straight forward in order to understand them like in country music. But nonetheless, it's there
This song is brilliant. And if you get offended by it, remember that these guys have pretty much left no stone unturned when it comes to comedic sources. So relax and laugh a little
You country people care more than other ppl? You gotta be fucking kidding me. Saying that the person is patriotic basing it to music they are playing is just plain stupid. Especially when country singers do songs basicly about every sad thing about life. Does that mean they care moe? Nope. It's just a style theyre playing.
Also I didn't know that country singers were at the same level as muhammed. So you can't even joke about them nowadays, huh?
Only reason they are making fun of him is that he is literally making money out of peoples suffering. He's doing nothing more than bathing in the suffering of ppl and making money out of it. Or are you seriously so naive that you think he didn't wrote that song with dollars shining in his eyes?
@maddieestelle23 haha you're 13. Though i admire the fact that you believe in yourself, maybe you should realise that 13 is no age and that you have plenty to learn. At 13 you are still utterly and completely under the influence of your parents. Your opinions will have nothing to do with you or your experiences at this point. For some that never changes.
oh and btw. "us folks who WORK and TRY hard, we can get jobs." you're 13 what would you know about this subject?
Well, that still doesn't really prove anything. It reminds me that interview where Trey and Matt stated that originally, in episode about 9/11, they wanted to build up a conspiracy that American flag makers did 9/11 in order to profit on the upcoming nostalgia and patriotism.
No offense intended, i still don't claim it's Alan's case. I just don't know him enough to believe either possibility.

It's kind'a agnostic attitude on my part.

I don't know anything about Alan Jackson, so I only hope he's not just an asshole using 9/11 as opportunity to make money or get famous.
Guess Trey and Matt think he is, though...
