Yes. This site is free to use with no ads. We make money when people upgrade to get additional features. This video does show how it works for free. You call it disingenuous then turn around and admit you haven't even tried the product. I find that offensive.

Having just praised another of this guy's videos I have to say I find this disingenuous -- having visited the site, it's clear that a website CAN be free, but this implies that it IS free. And the page we see you making, is that really how a FREE page would appear, with no ads?!
