Whole food source is better then juicing your right we need fiber and the whole food...for optimum health .. whole food source is better then supplements too our body uses and absorbs what god has put down here for us better then man made supplement which more then not turns toxic in our body.
Are you kidding?Your complaining about the fiber?! That stuff is a fucking Heart-Attack in a bottle!I mean, have you seen how much salt they put in those things? My dad cant drink that stuff because he has diabetes and thats waaaay too much salt, even for me.
@MSBrown1115 Yes that might be true but to people like me who need a ton of salt because my blood pressure is so low it's nearly non-existent. V8 is a god-send.
I don't live on v8 juice or any other juices alone. I eat other things that provide all of the fiber I need. Thank you. So what is this guy trying to say? That we all have to get off of the juice wagon? A varied diet with proper exercise will do the job.
"Turning green vegetables into juice is not as healthy as eating green vegetables and that is the fact of the matter." -
Disagree, only 40% of nutrients are bio-available when the whole vegetable is consumed compared to 93% bio-availability if juiced, you emphasis on the importance of fibre is correct however.
@eliteswordsman1 his saying that the v8 juice is good, but if you really want to get healthy eat vegetables because it contains fiber. I hope you know his talking about the 100% percent vegetable juice not the fruit ones.
Its like diet soda. They say diet soda has less calories than regular soda which is bullshit cause diet soda is the same as regular. The reason they sell diet soda is to brainwash you to sale. V8 is also the same shit which they say its healthy so you can buy it so they could sale it which they brainwash you. With V8 it has alot of salt in it which its bad. HE is right it doesn't have enough fiber which our body needs. V8 is a scam don't trust their advertising cause they just want you to buy it
If you view V8 as a replacement to vegetables, then RealityofAging is right, but if you swap out 8oz of water with an 8oz glass of low sodium V8, you're doing yourself a big favor. V8 is healthy. This video is dumb.
@Squippel2 V8 has alot of shitloads of salt and not enough fiber. Don't believe their advertising cause its a scam. They just want you to buy it to make a sale. Its like diet soda pretty much which they say its less calories, but its the same shit as regular soda. Companies just want to brainwash you so they could sale. Our bodies need alot of fiber, protein and green veggies. If I want veggie juice I rather make it homemade than buy it from a scam company like V8 cause I don't have to worry.
Fresh Juices are incredible for you. Not canned or processed juices. I am talking about Fresh Juice you make. Now you don't want to drink fresh juice for every meal because you will lack fiber. But you can juice several times a day in your own juicer and it's very healthy. Also make green smoothies where you get lots of fiber and nutrients. It's all about balance.
When you cook foods you destroy valuable nutrients and enzymes. Look up my good friend Jim Morris on the internet. Cheers!
I am sofa king tired of drinking plain water and herbal teas all the time!! Isn't there anything else out on the market that is healthful to drink?!?! The only other thing I have come up with is when I cook fresh or frozen vegetables, I drink the water from the pot after it's through cooking. Yam water is one of the best I've tried so far. Spinach, carrot, kale, chard and asparagus water are all pretty decent too... But I am so bored!! I need to drink something else!!
V8 juice is a better drink choice than colas and other sugar sweetened beverages, but with its high salt content it’s not as healthy as fresh vegetable juice from a juicer. If you don’t have hypertension or heart disease, V8 isn’t a bad choice if consumed in moderation, particularly if you’re on the run and don’t have time to get five to seven servings of fruits and vegetables.

V8 juice is not a good choice for anyone who has heart disease or hypertension. A single 11.5 ounce can has 690 mg. of sodium, almost a third of the daily recommended sodium intake for the average individual. Fortunately, V8 now makes a low sodium juice drink which is a better option
V8 juice is fat-free and relatively low in calories at seventy calories per 11.5 ounce can. It supplies almost twice the daily recommended intake of vitamin C and more than half of the vitamin A. It’s also an excellent source of potassium. It’s likely there are a lot of phytonutrients not listed on the label such as flavonoids and carotenoids, all of which appear to play a role in promoting health. V8 is also a quick and convenient way to get a serving of vegetables.
tomato juice is a healthy vegetable juice due to its high content of lycopenes, a carotenoid and antioxidant that may reduce the risk of certain types of cancer, particularly prostate cancer. Tomatoes are also an excellent source of vitamins A, C, K, and the mineral potassium, which helps to control blood pressure.
This drink contains the juice from a variety of vegetables – carrots, celery, watercress, parsley, spinach, lettuce, and beets. These vegetable juices make up only about thirteen percent of the drink with the remainder being tomato juice.
@ayeleeexbee The high sodium is a problem but this man is right. No fiber in vegetables when turn to juice. We are meant to eat raw vegetables in pure form which is good for our brains and bodies.
Well a can of V8 has 3 grams of fiber and an official serving of vegetables, for example a half cup of chopped carrots has 2 grams of fiber. Considering V8 claims 2 servings of vegetables you could say V8 has 75% of the fiber compared to the servings they claim. Far from nothing like you say.
V-8 Juice contains the juice from a variety of vegetables – carrots, celery, watercress, parsley, spinach, lettuce, and beets. These vegetable juices make up only about thirteen percent of the drink with the remainder being tomato juice. It’s obvious that the majority of the juice found in a glass of classic V8 is tomato juice and lets not forget it has been cooked (pastureized) which kills most essential enzymes found in plants.
v-8 juice is not that great for you because it is paturized. Pasturized means it is cooked. Cooking kills the enzymes in food. There are raw juice recipes made for regularity and conlon detox cleansing
There are many minerals, vitamins, etc. still left. True it is not a serving of fiber, but it is far healthier than water or a flavored drink. Vegetables>V8>most all other drinks. Considering drinking V8 is way easier than preparing and eating vegetables I think this isn't even a rational argument. Do people really drink this instead of a meal??
im starting to think nothings good for us nothing is organic anymore everythings getting messed with i hate it how am i gonna ever eat anything and think its healthy fuck everything im doomed to be a fat pork chop
Rene, you should do a little more homework before presenting a video like this. While I agree we need fiber, there are definite health benefits to juicing. You Tube experts are sometimes experts in their own minds only! Happy Juicing, Cheers
You said, "The fiber that is in the vegetables is extracted from the juice."
Bust doesn't the company that manufactures V8 claim it's made from the "whole fruit and vegetable"? It does contain 2 grams of fiver per serving. I'd be disappointed if they did not include the "pulp" or fiber. That would make me start making my own V8 WITH the skin and other fiber included.
Books are written on juicing benefits. Juicing fruit and vegetables is where the enzymes are. Fiber has no food value other than bulk required to push the waste matter through your colon. Pasteurizing is cooking. V-8 or any other foods pasteurized kills the enzymes your body needs.
Ego guy with the hug biceps, struggling with big words should read juicing books by Dr. Norman Walker, continuously published since 1936. Look up on Amazon the Champion Juicer! It is the best. I use it daily.
@jdh91741 To you and all the other morons that don't get it. He knows that juice contains things that are good for everyone vitamins, minerals, ect, ectc. But face it, the majority of people, especially those living in the u.s. don't get enough fiber in their diet. So if you have a dirty, unfit, full of waste, intestinal tract from not getting enough fiber in your diet, you aren't absorbing everything from that juice. Hence that is why it's not as healthy as they say!
@accord21 Moron? Really? Tell me do you have anger management issues? Do you really believe you can change a persons mind with name calling? Did you know there are specific jucing recepies for colon detox cleansing.? May I suggest you read some books by Dr. Gabriel Cousins. There is much to be learned every day.
@jdh91741 Look, this video is not about your super incomparable concentrated molecular colon detoxification cleansing juices that you make and drink ok. It's about v8 juice. Stop being ignorant in thinking that you're proving this guy wrong and trying to make him look bad, you're not.
if you say eating starches, sugars, and alcohol is bad for us is cooking oil bad for us ? because it is one way to cook meat and vegetables so my question is which kind of oil is healthier for us I am very concerned about this and would love to know what kind of cooking oil is the healthiest.
@cheeriosinabowl Hi I saw your comment on using low sodium v8 juice. I have read several interesting books regarding the benefits of sodium. It is how one uses sodium that matters. Let's chat should you wish.
@walkaway1212 There are recipes that will open a new life for you. For starters go to amazon and get the paperback books written by Dr. Norman Walker. Also I urge you to look at the Champion Juicer (also on amazon) It is costly but well worth it. I use mine several times a day. Lets chat should you wish to discuss this further.
Thats half of the truth. but you are right: its better to eat the whole veggie/ fruit. but juice from veggies (not fruits, because of the sugar!) are very healthy. there is a very little amount of sugar, and the minerals and vitamins are faster transported to your blood and (most important) better absorbable!!! but, if i should give an advice to all the peoples, i would say: eat the whole veggie! but veggiejuice is a great thing too, for everyone.

If you're on the go and don't have the time, V8 juice is okay. At least in my opinion.
I buy ONLY the LOW SODIUM bottle, it has lots of potassium which helps the bod.
Sometimes I add a tablespoon or 2 of organic lemon juice for an extra zing.
