  • I thought Epson was the preferred printer for photographers. How is this better?

  • I own two HP B209A.

1st critic point. Ink is not cheap. Yes it is very good, but ink price is waaaay to high, even with XL catridges. I really think HP should go down with prices AND allow REFILL kits with original ink. This would be good for environiment.

2nd, I had purchased 2x100 Q8029A Premium Plus photopaper for my printers. It seemed to be best paper from HP. Now I discover PAPER IS NOT WATER RESISTANT AT ALL. And there IS NO SINGLE WARNING about that. WTF kind of premium is it?

  • I own a HP Z3200. I do my fine art capture with a fine art cruse scanner. I think the HP is an ideal product for someone who wants to do their own prints at home, as it is much less maintenance than a piezo printer such as an epson. I have a 9900, and hands down it is much more productive and higher quality than the hp. However there is a tool for everything, I just wouldn't recommend it for production use as it is way too slow.

  • excellent advice from the pioneers in the process.

  • I prefer Canon, but this is a wonderful, encouraging story of creativity expressed thru digital processes...

  • Another ad for HP.
