@ThunderHenshin32 me too..I love The Idan Raichel Project..but I haven't heard of Yehoram Gaon..I listen him recently and I understand it! he sings like in Spanish..I like it..

@Experimentada1 that's ok..you're english was very clear & understandable..i think sarit hadad & naomi shemer, were also I've heard that were singers from Israel. Aside from that i know, not too many as of now, still continue to search.

Yeah, Yehoram Gaon knows Spanish too because he was Sephardic.. he came from Spain. I learned Sephardic are people of Jewish descent who came from Spain & around the Mediterranean area. They speak "Ladino" a mixture of spanish & hebrew.

@ThunderHenshin32 Yes, I knew Sarit Hadad and Naomi Shemer (she sang "Yerushalayim Shel Zahav", I prefer the version of Ofra Haza, but she was a great singer)

I love israeli singers like Ofra Haza, Esther Ofarim or Boaz Mauda..those singers that have a great voice..as it is difficult to find in other countries...

you're right i think they're wonderful singers & unique.:P i don't know if you heard of the song "Luyehi", = may it be in english.

it's also sang by Naomi Shemer & Sarit Hadad.
