Actually you'll find the second socket you plugged it into is not a telephone socket. Also, why does this thing beep constantly? Is it a "everything is ok alarm"? If so please dispatch one to me right away.
im sure if this is set up near a door or something and your not home and an burglar walks in the door and the alarm gives you like 15 seconds, hes gonna reach down and turn it off at the wall.
This alarm is brilliant. The demonstration is not quite right and the chimes can be turned off while programming. It will call 5 stored numbers in sequence in 30 seconds if there is movement or the panic button has been pressed. 1,500.000 of these have been sold in the UK with a very small percentage of returns. It is a one off payment, unlike alarm companies charging the earth to install and then a monthly premium on top of that!!! so from £24.95 it is brilliant
eazy alarm to bypass simply call the house and then break in so it cant make the phone call. or cut the phone lines to the house. i would steal everything in the house then take a shit on the alarm and leave
this is a fucking shit alarm its only good to take a shit on and thats it and he should put the alarm in the tolet then take a shit on it. then flash it down
so who is the guy who emailed me saying higher grade alarms do have line seizure? the name is itsMIKED77. they are an alarm expert supposedly and informed me to know my facts before i post them. what i posted is fact about this particular system. it has no line seizure, making it junk. you need to read my posting again to see you misread what i posted. i am an alarm dealer.....for 12 yrs i have been installing alarms. yes, good alarm system have to have line seizure but this one does not!
If someone pressed that panic button with an intruder present they would probably get killed...what a piece of british junk. I wouldn't depend my life on that toy. I would spend the money on a reliable smith and wesson.
This was made in China you American asshole, you Americans can't make things for shit. Us Chinese made almost everything. I have one and the alarm on it is a lot louder than it sounds.
all that shit is way too complex.WARNING.if anyone enters my house without my permission then you will meet your death..b'cos i wont be asking you any form of questions iam gonna assume that you are in my house to do me or my family harm and you will die.thankyou.
could disarm ur alarm in seconds....long before it had a chance to dial out for help.
wireless systems are not secure!
if it is not wired directly into a demarc, you cannot have line seizure....leave a phone off the hook and your alarm is useless. simply call your home phone # before i enter the home and there is no available dial tone so the alarm is a useless noise maker.
if i disable dial tone....its dead in the water, it cant communicate to dial out to let anyone know there is an alarm going off!
they are junk! any 10 yr old knows that. there is no GSM on this unit....imagine this...i break in...see the unit or hear it, simply walk over and pull it out of the wall jack. its that simple! since there is an entry delay and another delay for the dialer to call out....its that easy! not secure at all and can be proven as well.
@somedudenamedev You could set it to have no delay and they have battery back-up so even if unplugged or cable is cut it still has power and makes noise, plus there is an external siren/strobe that comes with this that is MUCH louder and is outside.
alarm cooler ????

but how would you know that this particular house had this alarm?
do you cut phone lines to every single house you break into? do you know where the switch is in the fuse box?
clementchew 2 years ago
@Jackcc5 If you had a private number, they can not call the house. This is not StarGate SG1.

Does that unit also function as a doorbell? It was making the sound of a doorbell when you first put the battery in.
