I like her, but I like also several others. Every artist (just when an artist is a real one) put something special in her own interpretation. Damrau does it very very good, at her way, i like a lot the right accent on every word, so rare to listen. Then also Dessay is great, or Popp or Roberta Peters, or Moser... but the best coloratura is Dessay's, according to me. And remember, live appearances are always different than a recording in studio... thanks all those artists
I haven't acquired "Arie..." yet, so this is a great treat. Especially now that we're left without an opportunity to enjoy the best Queen live.
Lovely Damray sings this one nicely, clean and perfect. Unfortunately that's exactly what I don't like about this recording. I think she's superior while catching breath untamed on the stage. I consider her 2003 Covent Garden performance absolute top ever reached by any Queen, and since for me this one is 5 stars, that other must be a galaxy.
Who the hell disliked this?
