@TheJimgonzalez when i did have that set up.. the boost and air/fuel ratio was meant for the blower set up, the volts that was there was just a cheap filler for the 3rd slot. lol. Like i said.. this was an old set up. I have different exhaust, pulley, tune, and intake ever since.

They made @8000 Shelby GT's in 07-08. They were a production run in response to the 06 Shelby GT/H. Factory rated at 319hp and 333tq. 4.6L with Ford Racing Perf pack installed, tuned exhaust, Hurst shifter etc. Many were sent down to Shelby in Vegas for the GT/SC conversion.
I beefed the rubber on mine, added a 1-piece drive shaft with 3rd link and now it sticks better. Of course, I can break traction pretty much any time I want, but she digs in nicely now. Stay safe.

@darkkshinobi It's actually a Shelby GT/SC, it came from the factory with the supercharger. I'm willing to bet that they used the FRPP tune. I talked to the tech at Whipple, and he said they run an 11.9:1 AF ratio.

The second guage is digital. You won't see a needle. The guage on the left is the boost and you can most definately watch it move. Can't read the numbers to see how much it's pushing but the needle goes to the halfway point, and then a little bit.
i have 520 hp to the motor and my engine is stock. once your going to around 500 to the wheels is when you start to have problems. at 450 to either you'll be fine. and if you want more power you need to go forged and get forged internals such as cams, heads, rods, etc. im pretty sure the rear end and trans can withstand 500 hp if im not mistaking.
i have a question, our s197 mustangs can only handle 450hp on stock parts right. So if I put a blower on my s197 and its making like 500 for example, what i have to change, Tranny, Rear end, stuff like that???

Very very nice. My pops just picked up the 2010 GT 5 speed. The quality is amazing, the Trans is smooth and the clutch is ultra responsive. I'm already bugging him to pick up a Kenne bell :)
ok im looking at a 2005 mustang gt. has a vortech blower, forged internals, and suspension. the dealership thats selling the car claims it has around 550 hp. all my buddies have chevys with one of them being a vette that can run the quarter in bout 11.8. Will i be able to hang with them if i buy this car?
A lotta factors are gonna play, like whether you gonna hook and how good you can shift. With all that hp, you should be able to hang if the car has pretty good shoes and if it can actually put all that power to the ground.

i have a question, our s197 mustangs can only handle 450hp on stock parts right. So if I put a blower on my s197 and its making like 500 for example, what i have to change, Tranny, Rear end, stuff like that???

well i've got the saleen blower on mine with jba axlebacks and summitt offroad h pipe. this video was made before i swapped the motor, it sounds just a little bit different now

Very very nice. My pops just picked up the 2010 GT 5 speed. The quality is amazing, the Trans is smooth and the clutch is ultra responsive. I'm already bugging him to pick up a Kenne bell :)

ok im looking at a 2005 mustang gt. has a vortech blower, forged internals, and suspension. the dealership thats selling the car claims it has around 550 hp. all my buddies have chevys with one of them being a vette that can run the quarter in bout 11.8. Will i be able to hang with them if i buy this car?

A lotta factors are gonna play, like whether you gonna hook and how good you can shift. With all that hp, you should be able to hang if the car has pretty good shoes and if it can actually put all that power to the ground.

Never mind, I just saw another one of your vids. Apparently, its a Saleen supercharger. Those things are freakin' sweet. The design and engineering is superb.
Now that Steve branched off on his own, he's offering the same set up to the Dodge Challenger and Chevy Camaro.
