Frankly, I wish they HAD just ported Zombies to MW3. Zombies with MW3's guns would have been awesome, and much more enjoyable then survivor mode.

Not as good as zombies. No question. Nowhere near as fun, and the variety of game play is actually reduced (you can only have one perk at once, you can't pack-a-punch, no fun Easter eggs, or anything particularly fun or compelling). Survival Mode was my biggest let down for the year.

As far as everyone I play with, and myself, we all agree that the survival mode blows away the zombie game. I am quite fond of the zombie theme, but the gameplay is so much more involved, there is just no question. Maybe, in the future there can be a compromise between the zombie theme, with the new survival play style, doesn't hurt to dream huh?

Survival mode is like MW3's version of Treyarch's zombies. You shoot at enemies that you see in the Spec Ops missions, like dogs, juggernauts, soldiers, and helicopters. You get money by killing enemies, completing challenges, and surviving rounds. You can use the money to buy weapons, upgrades, explosives, perks, killstreaks, and even AI teamates to help you.

The trade-off is that you have to level up to have more options available to you in survival mode.

God you kids are dumb. Infinity Ward and Treyarch both make Call of Duty games. They switch releases every year. Treyarch brought the idea of zombies in Call of Duty 5, they also brought classes and a better multiplayer. Call of Duty 4 brought in Custom classes and a special mode to campaign.
