  • These bring back tons of memories, but I would LOVE to see the station IDs WMAR played for late night movies during the '80s!

  • In This Clip, From 0:00 To 0:06, It Was WMAR-TV's Come Home To Channel 2 Video ID From Late 1987.

  • RIP Ken Matz

  • @sflnewstv2

I think Ken Matz is still alive.

  • @47101547 No, sadly he died in January, he was 64.

  • @47101547 no he is not you idiot

  • @sflnewstv2 Man I remember Ken Matz on KGO in 1982 miss him in SF

  • Okay seeing Sally Thorner all my life on channel 13....its so weird watching her on Channel 2!!!!

That just doesn't sound right!!! LOLOL!

  • @bubblinbrownsugar616

Yup, she was on Channel 2 for several years. Her move to 13 was a big deal.

  • Just think if wmar-tv had stayed with nbc they would be showing shows like heroes, the office,Howie do it,and saturday night live.

  • Can you do This open Clip with The current WMAR-TV Logo?

  • sally Thorner is now on WJZ!

  • Love that "40th Anniversary" banner in the ID... beautiful! :-)

  • Ms. Thorner was wearing quite an elegant coatdress/suit. I always thought those gave ladies a definite touch of class; you would be hard pressed to see even grandmothers wearing one of those these days.

  • I used to watch Wheel and Jeopardy all the time on channel 2!

  • Me too!

  • This was WMAR'S 40th anniversary 20 years ago.

  • WMAR should have kept their NBC.

  • Weak....
