one of my favorite songs of all time ... XYZ were never just an 80's band, these songs were melodic and soulful...and I can honestly say this one changed my life.
Just bought this CD, possibly the best CD i own, not kidding.. XYZ ftw!! So damn underrated! Hopefully my band will be succesful if we try hard enough, gonna bring the 80's back! Long live hair metal <3
@ZeFMJ thanx for the heads up... great song!!! I dont give a shit if there french...american....or anywhere in between... just surprised i didnt know after 20 years of listening to them!! slow me down was cool!! thanx for te post XYZ has been one of my favorites!!!!
@80smetalking3 check the video out at /watch?v=1JnC8OGAcuU
That's said, the origin doesn't really matter... anyway, that shouldn't be what makes you like or dislike a band. But for once american people enjoy music from french guys (even if they are now more american than french) ^^
Btw, they realeased another, rare album also called XYZ before this one that's worth a listen, especially the song Slow me down.
im from the east coast.... we had 89.5 pirate radio out of seton hall univ... we all knew the rep of knac 3000 miles away.... shit half the bands i listend to wore their shirts!!!
I still have their EP from 87 when they was still playing in France, 2 years before they moved to the US. I can't believe they didn't get any recognition from french people, their music is great.
great song.. great record from a very very underrated band terry has such a soulful voice somewhere between paul rodgers and jeff keith and eric can't think of his last name from mr. big.. thank you guys for your creativeness and contribution of great soulful songs.
i love you Keith!!!! This song means so much more to me now!!!! i know why u love it. i know u love me and i love you!!!! we've waited so long to be together ...lets not lose it again!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!
3:24 gosh that note is insane! I saw these guys last night in Stockholm, Sweden and they totally rocked the place to the ground. So tight, and the singer still hits most of the high notes! Terry and co you rock!
hey kiss fan .... listen to the last note terry hits and youll understand why its so low. my bro and i did sound for these guys @ the mad monk and could hear this note slam across the street at dodger dogs!!!! this is 1 bad mother fu@#@# of the year!!!! enjoy erock.........
i was reading smitchix response to this video and he said that gillen was gone. Now i know why we never got any thing else from these guys. damm shame. only the good die young
Once i walked across the sky found a dream in your eyes and then rain came along...once i slept upon the clouds ignoring all my doubts now im back where i belong........
"Now the sun you blew apart left a rainbow in my heart to save our promises...now my future is the past and i'm gonna make it last endless memories...i have traveled back in time to play for keeps and make you mime...all i get is souvenir...close enough to taste your smile....CLASSIC!!!!!

thats cuz u heard all the other versions off of other albums and demo's ... this is the original version off there first album ... much much better ... no crappy keyboards and stuff in this one ... also, inside out is the best version on this album too ;)
i allways hear glam rock hair bands? what the fuck! i would say great music nothing else.but as for the most of the new bands shit rock seems to work.
The beginning of this sounds like the beginning of Warrant's Blind Faith, or maybe the other way around. Both great songs, though I haven't heard this one in frickin' years! Thanks to whoever posted it.
this song is an awesome practice session for any guitar player from the acoustic parts to the solo, it will test a large number of guitar playing skills, highly recommended.
