I bought a 2010 G37x coupe and wanted to upgrade it before I brought it home. Infiniti took it, change the body kit, engine mods, exhaust, interior upgrades, brake upgrades and yearly body film removal and installs for an additional 15K. Now pumping out 375hp and complete multi media access, internet, hd movies etc. It's called IPL, Infintiti Performance Line, you basically can biuld your G37 to your wants and needs. Now thats a mod package.

@360mmspider Yeah, not my taste either but I wouldn't want to mod a perfect package anyways unless it improves the ride or driving dynamics. The engine is perfect and doesn't need to be tampered with. 280-300 hp is plenty, the exhaust is perfect and the engine is butter smooth. It's a perfect balance of luxury, sport and practicality all for way less than a BMW or Audi and not to mention the outstanding reliability. Love my G.
@dukviper90 ya last year i was deciding on a 370z or g37 coupe. went back and forth for a month or two. i looked into the mods. and there are the same engine for the most part. but there is really not much you can even do to the engine. at least not as cheap or as easy as a v8. but still great cars.
@360mmspider Like all luxury high end cars, it is going to be expensive to squeeze more power. You can squeeze 400 WHP reliably. Exhaust/intake and a Vortech or Stillen supercharger and around 8 psi will get you around 400 WHP with warranty and you'll need about 5 grand. If you need more than that than tear the engine and get stronger rod's, the weak point of the motor. Might as well replace the pistons too.
@dukviper90 defiantly more than 5k setup. the supercharger alone cost over 5k. for a (370z or 2009+ g37 ) and then you need to tune and buy headers+ cat back+ CAI. and maybe even a install. and i personally wont do forced introduction with out upgrading engine components ( like you said). if i got a 370z or g37 the most i would do is a exhaust. its not a tuners car.
ok don't even get me started on civics, and where do you find the same level of class that the g35 has, out of ford or buick? white, black, brown, yellow civics and fords I personally consider trashy, my opinion. I don't care about the worlds fastest eg6 hatch or gt mustang, I've been tuning imports for a long time and i'm just stating an observation from owning 1 n/a and 1 turbo civics and 1 mustang, no matter what you do only an idiot would prefer "speed" over BEAUTY and speed combined.

It really depends on who you're trying to impress, women always go for the looks. Besides, the increase in power worsens the mileage, so if you increase power first, it's going to be harder to save up the money for a body kit and e.t.c. later. Especially if it's a daily driver.
Also, I think you're misinterpreting something. the cars in the video don't look mean, they just look sexy. Mean means huge, rough, intimidating and NOT SHINY. I trust you know the point of a sexy car. It all makes sense if you think about it this way.

EK's Specs: DC strut bars K&N CAI KYB shocks n Tein springs, Skunk2 short throw Straight piped DC 4-2-1 header 16" Rota Circuit 8s wrapped w/ Hankook tires stock tranny/engine D16 non Vtec, full interior 12" sub n 800w amp. car was $4000, mods were $1200. a stock G35 is about 25k. now whos got nothing on who? i know civics arent the best but they arent the worst.
