Yes, this watch was actually made by Svend Andersen.

The movement is no way a (now ETA) 6497, this movement is waaay bigger.

The movement in this watch looked to me like a modified/refinished new old stock alarm movement, using the alarm gear train to drive the "action" and yes, it do had a hefty price tag, not that much, but not so far.

This is from Andersen Geneve. I believe the movement is a modified Unitas 6497. This is one of several examples of the "Eros" line, and some have sold for as much as 60,000 Euros for charity.
