  • I want to see crystal freqency in scope. 32.768 khz crystal. how can I see its waveform in scope. can you please explain me.

  • @yousrihari Connect the scope's probe in parallel with the crystal. You may have to use two probes (in differential mode) if one of the crystal terminals is not grounded.

  • Thanks, I have HP AGILENT 8924C ANALOG SCOPE. I am unable to see 9v dc in it. What parameters I have to set like v/d, t/d etc., I don't have ac/dc coupling parameters in it. guide me.

  • @yousrihari I'm not sure you actually have an oscilloscope. I tried looking up "HP Agilent 8924C" on Google and it appears to be a communications analyzer, not an oscilloscope.

Any oscilloscope set to "DC coupling: should be able to register a DC voltage applied to its input. The volts per division (v/d) setting determines how far the line will move with applied voltage, and the t/d setting doesn't matter (for DC measurements).

  • @BTCInstrumentation thanks for reply. you will find "scope" option in "analog" tab.

Finally I am able to measure dc and ac all in scope. my mistake is It's input parameter is in af analyzer screen. you are doing a great job keep it up.

  • THANKS! I bought my first scope a recently a Tektronix 2225. This video helped solidify my understanding of the AC/Gnd/DC input coupling. 5 stars
