Oh wait, you thought SW's Boost Logic still had the record with 246? No, that has been beaten several times. A TT Lamborghini ran 249, and 250mph, A Ford GT ran 252 and 253.

A Camaro SS TT came close with a 244mph. Go working class hero car !

How many Supra's are 2000+hp? Yeah, you can push a Supra over 1200hp, but most people do not for a reason. LSX motors have not found it's limit yet, and some are 2000hp and climbing. The 2jz is wonderful motor, but it's not the best motor. Maybe it used to be, but it isn't anymore.

You want a cheap car that has a great base performance, has the lowest cost for upkeep for a supercar, and one of the top build potentials? Vipers. Go to ebay motors and price. Surprise!

Standing mile isn't about high RPM, it's about weight, down force, drag coefficient, gearing, and horse power. A Camaro hit 244mph with an LSX motor and is about 300lbs heavier than a Supra, and that is just 2 mph slower than the fastest Supra. Corvettes and Vipers generate more down force than a Camaro or Supra, that is why they have trouble getting much over 235, because the wind is pushing the cars down by design.

How many different Supra's have run over 240mph in the standing mile? Now, how many have run the standing mile and been in the 180-230 range? You think just strapping a big turbo to a Supra will get you to 246mph in a standing mile? lmao

It takes 190k to make a Supra run 240+ standing mile. Just go look up Supra Standing Mile in your search, and you'll see a lot of Supra's with a lot of money in them that cannot break 240. People act like even breaking 200mph standing mile is easy. lol.....it isn't easy or cheap.

Go to TX2K12, Texas or Miami Mile, talk to the owners themselves, not a guy that has a friend of a friend.
