Sedona Lace's EB09 Universal Blender is what I used in this tutorial! Same amazing quality as the sigma E25 which I also love which is only 5 cents more lol Both under ten dollars and the blending brushes I use every time I blend.

Layering like colors help. Like I did with the red in this tutorial. Putting a lighter color before the darker red made it easier to blend the darker shadow. Also have a shadow close to your skintone to help blending things out without showing too much really helps. Work a little bit at a time!

I didn't copy anyone. I generally like purples with gold and find red very appropriate for the holidays. That being said, this is what I came up with! A lot of people use the same colors. There is no way every tutorial on youtube (and remember there are hundreds) would have different colors especially if it is holiday inspired.

The purple could be switched with Shadowy Lady. Vanilla could be used as the highlight & for the deeper red I'd go with Cranbery

I noticed you used the Maybelline Superstay, and I was wondering if its good for cold weather? Because during Winter I get these dry patches of skin, and I don't want to emphasize them. BTW, do you prefer the Superstay over Revlon Colorstay? Thanks!

I prefer superstay over colorstay because it matches me a lot better. Colorstay doesn't have a shade that doesn't look odd on me sadly though I love the performance as well. Superstay doesn't emphasize dryness so I would recommend it as a winter foundation.
