I should tell you that there are many Yaoi/Shonen Ai anime/manga series with decent plotlines. There's Loveless, for one, which actually has a very interesting plot, with a few twists, even. Also, Shotacon is often 100% consensual, and even when it's not, THEY'RE NOT EVEN REAL. That information right there is what you need to come to terms with. And FYI, I like yaoi AND Shotacon, and I HAVE had boyfriends, thank you very much!
