  • We have dual core processors, Left and Right hemispheres of our brain. But no one seems to care that I have accurately pinpointed my own deja vu. And my brain works properly. Why can't researchers ask questions about what does this phenomena trigger memories of? I remember the visions from my dreams. I dream it before I see it.

  • Replaying a video or reading a repeating script does not accurately describe this phenomena.

  • I don't have deja vu in familiar places, just new, uncanny places, and I dream of these places before I visit them as if my eyes were video cameras playing a clip in my dream BEFORE I experience this phenomena. It happens so often that I have take note of it and mentally research what has happened. The clips of deja vu seem to be mingled into my dreams as if my subconscious entity has the machine from "Paycheck" to see into the future. I feel as if my tangible, conscious body is my Avatar.

  • i have had deja vu's a lot of times !!!

  • 1:43 He already said that... or did he?

  • I can't stop and think that I feel I've seen this before.....

  • Thumbs up for Vsauce...!

  • The first time I experienced déjà vu around the age of nine it was extremely vivid

  • @LeNZian What a coincidence....

  • I just had a deja vu about me watching this video

  • I have this experience once or twice a year. There needs to be more research on this!

  • it happens to me 2 times every week i am special

  • I have had deja vu a few times. A few times it has actually been a repetitive recreation of a previous (common) experience from a previous time. Once I had deja vu where I had a dream of opening a food closet and 3 days later it actually occurred. The kicker was that food was organized exactly as it was in the dream, and it had been rearranged by another person between the dream and experience. Other times it has been about places I have not yet been.

  • It can't be seizures because it happens to me in dreams. I'll dream the scene, sometimes 2 or 3 weeks before. Then when it happens, I know what people are going to say before they say it. I think they are warnings.

  • i love the way he is sitting down, he have his legs crossed and his hand betwwen the legs ..he looks comfortable :)

  • I was about to cross an intersection at my green light when I suddenly remembered a car speeding directly in front of me running his red light. I stopped in fear and sure enough, a car ran his red light soo fast that it would have killed me! Thank you deja vou!! ( true expierience)

  • after watching this video fully i think it's more then that because i don't just hear but i also see and i don't have dyslexia yat i feel it so strongly and it started around when i was probably 13 and im going on to 14 this year.but that wasn't the first time ether iv had it when i was a kid to maybe my brain is weird like they said but i don't think its that.well whatever one day its going to be figured out and till that day i will probably have it.

  • if anyone can add on or correct my thinking please do im just confused and with what iv heard about that time being side to side.but for some reason when time is side by side it gives us more of a chance to peek at the future with out really going.idk i feel like im blabbering but hope you found that interesting n.n thank you for reading =)

  • to happen again yet we still know it happened.in the middle rock you could easily jump to the rock in front of you right.you can't go back because you want to get to the other side (which i think that side means death and the opposite side meant birth).this is the part where im confused why does our brain or our spirit tries to take the step to the other rock in front of us but goes back to the middle?is it because whats in the future will happen in time or that we ourselves wish to see it?

  • its as if our brain is leaping thru those time's when we our unconscious and see's whats going to happen before it happens.this could be caused due to time not really being in order.for example there's three rocks in a lake and your in the middle one.you know what happened in the past because to get to the middle rock you had to jump to the first rock.but these rocks are very close together yet they won't touch each other meaning if something already happened in the past it's not going

  • that i turned pale.i have deja vu almost every day and sometimes more then once a day.but the weird thing is that i have been getting them more recently lately and more vivid each time. it's really starting to freak me out.i also saw a preview of this show on the science channel talking about that time as we thought was wasn't really like that at all.and that past, present and future are side by side.and if what this show says is true then deja vu becomes so much clearer to me.

  • this is scary and exciting. today i don't know what was happening but i was talking to my friend on the phone and all of the sudden i have this huge electricity kind of wave pace through me and right in front of my eyes every single aspect was seen before by me.it wasn't in a dream and i em positive it couldn't have happened before because we moved in to this house only about a month probably less then that but everything was so clear and vivid that it scared me so much.i had shivers and i swear

  • 4:03 explains it all

  • I was thinking that you could see into the future and once you realised that,

you could change everything the second time around. It makes more sense what this guy sais. :))

  • @arsehole420

I remember is exactly because the whole time of deja vu was triggered by someone dropping a pen and then it hit me like a vivid flash back

  • @arsehole420

I was thinking the same thing! We can only use 20% of our brains power what if sometimes like when we dream we unlock the full 100% and in doing so we have a moment of precognition where we can actually see quite a bit into our own future? I once had a dream about sitting in class surrounded by other people watching a particular movie that I had never seen before 2 months later it happened I knew exactly what happened and what the other people around me were saying/doing.

  • he's kinda cute xD

  • some good theorys but doesn't explain dreaming something a week before and experiencing it in reality.

  • I loooove Deja Vu moments :D

  • i got the worst deja vu on mushrooms and hard alcohol. the new's on the tv just kept looping over and over. it was very strange.

  • Call me crazy but i think this has to do with Quantum physics, we might just be quantum leaping into another parallel universe where the certain experience already happened with our other self.

  • I dont know if "lucky" is the word Id use when describing it. (not that its bad necesarrily either.) And frankly Ive not had it in years, nor headaches.

  • Am i the only one that feels like god when experiencing deja vu? man it gives me the shivers when it happens!

  • no fuck that...i had a dream like 4 days ago that i was in a friends house and my friend had this ugly ass stuffed toy showing it to my sister and she said it was so cute, and then yesterday i went to smoke with my buddy's in there house and my friend she turned around and did the same movement as in my dream, picked up a stuffed toy animal and said "isnt it cute?" i was so shocked cause 1) it was the same ugly toy and 2) i know i had that dream only 4 days ago, l i swear this is true

  • @GeeeStatuz and if anyone who had the same "high" daja vu as me message me! cause i just fucking saw the future 4 days ago!!

  • Could this mean that someone could possibly live their whole life and have the feeling of Deja vu throughout their entire life?

    Trippy shit

  • That long term connecting with short term memory theory seems logical, but it just doesnt seem to ring true with regards to my own experience of the phenomenon..what do yous guys think?

  • the 2nd theory is crap as blind people have deja vu. i remeber reading about a study done in a university many years ago where they were able to prove that people posses precognition. i firmly believe that we know whats mapped out for us when we are in the spirit world before our journey on earth begins. somehow the knowledge from the spirit world momentarilly slips through into our earthly lives.

  • @The22clowns The first sentence of that comment made me lol!

  • i have deja vus 2 or 3 days a week, these days i have up to 4 deja vus each, sometimes i have a deja vu over another deja vu, sometimes it happens 3 times, and once happened four times. I also can read the mind of certain people, and no one actually believe i can

  • I was like "no." it was a very strange experience. just thought id share it

  • but i finally over powered the ghost by telling it that i didnt care if it was a ghost or whatever but that i whip his ass if it didnt let me up. i awoke at that moment to the phone ringing besides me and i answered it. to my surprise it was one of my friends and he was like your friend died last night and i immediatly knew who it was. i was like its shane (which was his name) and my friend was like " yeah you already heard?".

  • I had a dream that a guy i know was a ghost and he came to me while i was sleeping and tried to hold me down and not let me out of the bad. the dream was very realistic and i remember looking down at me feet and i thought i was awake. i could see the clothes and stuff i had on and the lighting and position of things around me were the same in the dream as in reality.

  • I have had this plenty of times in my life. I've dreamed something that sometimes is very intense and sticks in my mind for a while and ill forget about it and then out of nowwhere someday ill experience exactly what had happened in my dream. it can also come to me in normal thought during the day while im awake. Ive had a dream one time that i wouldnt call deja vu but its damn close.

  • my theory is that the mind has many layers, and the layer upon which "deja vu" happens is inter-twined with the universe and existence. a la the "we are a projection on the universe", and the layer is just a "preview".

for me, deja vu is extremely intense and detailed, with dreams. what these people describes nothing that i experience. nowhere near it :(

  • @hendrixphish420 He wants inception....DUUUUN

  • lol cant smoking a lot of pot make u get it more bc when i do i get it so much bout everything

  • no thats just falling into a stoned routine because of toking herb daily.

  • @hendrixphish420 lol ok but its still fun to feel some times ^w^

  • Interesting. I think the theory of long term memory being switched with short term memory makes the most sense.

  • don't see how these theories can explain like what the girl said before with guessng conversation before they actually talk.

  • how on earth would any of these two explanations explain a daja-vu as we have had several years before the incident

  • I have deja vus nearly every day, so naturally I'm curious about it. :P

  • ahh. i understand now. Does this mean that i actually haven't been in the situation before?

  • This is awesome - I agree with the first theory but I also there's something spiritual about it
