  • Really cool how you used the Curly Pudding as setting lotion...I watch this video frequently.

  • i know this comment is extra late but I was wondering how you maintain this style? Do you just sleep with a satin bonnet or roll the hairs up at night? I would love to try this style, but I'm not sure how I would maintain it..thanks for your help :o)

  • that's cute. i wonder how it looks after a couple of days?

  • Great video!!!!! Be blessed.

  • I love your videos !

  • what are end wraps? is there a substitute to this?

  • What can you use besides the curly pudding to set rollers

  • Can you use besides Ms. Jessie's to set the rollers

  • How do you maintain this style at night ?

  • very pretty! love the hair color.

  • I am thinking about trying this style this weekend, it came out very beautiful. I would like to know how you maintained it at night, and how long did the style last for you??? Thanks in advance:-)

  • I read your description box in your channel and you said that you are 4b/4c. You look more 4b than 4c. You're able to do things to your hair that most 4c's can barely do.

  • What's the difference between a perm rod and a flexi rod?

  • @polarBEAR819 perm rods are short and you secure them with a band and a clamp that goes on the top. the flexi rods are normally longer and you secure them by bending them at the top

  • Is there any other product that I can use besides miss jessie curl pudding for this hair style? Thx and i love this style

  • how long have u been natural?

  • My hair is like 4b-4c. can i still get the same results ?

  • what size are those rods

  • How many days did you keep this style 2days ?? Please reply to this comment ..

  • do you recommend washing hair the day before or do you think you will get the same results with wet hair from just washing it?

  • Love it!!!!

  • <3 it!!!!

  • Thanks for the video! I can't believe there are people who didn't like it. (Oh well, right) Anyway, I'm looking forward to more videos from ya!!!

  • This video introduced me to curly pudding, the produts are graet by expensive

  • how did u do the 2 strand twist in the front?>

  • do u find that doing ur own hair saves u money instead of going to a salon that specializes in natural hair? or does it kinda balance out with the purchase of diff product?

  • Hello i am new to youtube. I love ur hair so much. i havent permed my hair in a month and i am planning on going natural. M hair is already short so i dont know how i'm gonna b lookn. i hope that i can work well with my hair as well as u do when i make my transition.

  • Hi I really like how your hair came out. It look so natural. I been inspired by u tube have decided to grow my hair natural. So I am excited about the styles. Ths curly pudding you used is it widely available. Are there substitutes products that can be used.

  • Absolutely a great tip on separating each coil! Thanks

  • hi, is there anything else u can use in place of the pudding? is your wet or dry when u was doing the spirals

  • @poags2 she sprayed with water right in the video lol

  • That was very good i wish that can do hair like that i am from mississippi an we have nice Hair dos but if i do that to my hair . Thank u fro show some thing new.

  • Great video!

  • where do you get end wraps from? your hair is beautiful

  • @87Jjj any hair supply store

  • where do you get the curling pudding from

  • I wish my stylist knew how to do natural hair but with the help of your tutorials I'm going to school her. Thansk!

  • Did you secure the flat twist with the little rubber bands or did you just twist it to a certain point? By the way your style is so inspiring. I think I will try it once I get my curly pudding!

  • hey! quick question: just wanted to know if you were rolling your hair dry and applying oil as u went...or was your hair already wet?

    thanks for the help!

  • that is so cute! i wanna try it.

  • Wonderful! If more sisters realized that you can do anything with hair in it's natural state, then they wouldn't view natural hair as a problem that needs to be "fixed". This is a wonderful example of how versatile our hair is!

  • Love it...I think I'm going to try it right now

  • omg you are the greatest lol.I am a newbie to natural hair I mean literally a newbie. I decided to stop getting relaxers but I hadnt had one in a few months any way. i usually get blow outs at the Dominican salon. Im mixed and my hair is SUPER thick lol but I have been watching your videos and wanted to say thank you for the help your sharing with everyone. Are you a stylist?

  • how to do you get your twists to go sideways? does anyone know how to part the hair for sideways cornrows?

  • also how do you keep this style in tact? do you wrap it at night? I just love the flat twists. I can only cornrow my own hair though and I was just wondering how you got the parts to look slanted. they look great!

  • what is ink wraps? is that what that sheet is cALLED?

  • jteddy15- they are called end wraps. its small sheets of paper you put on the ends of your hair before rolling to ensure your ends stay straight and avoid frizzy ends or fish hooks

  • thanks

  • sewiknittooo- well i didn't sleep on the back of my head so when i wake up in the morning i would just shake and go

  • @PRETTYDIMPLES01where did you get the coconut oil and what brand is it?

  • Great job!

  • very cute, what were you using to smooth out the hair, was it gel

  • datz so cute wats the name of the rollers you use

  • I love this style on your hair I am thinking you r a beautician if not you do have the skills of one, What is so funny to me is that I never knew the white strips were used for the purpose of your ends in the past I use the end strips to roll up the rollers with - lol Thanks so much for this hair lesson!

  • She is a beautician ( or licensed cosmetologist ). Good Guess!

  • thanks so much! I have had the hardest time figure out which direction to and where to start with my hair on the perm rod to achieve a spiral...i am trying tonight!

  • I really love this....idk if my hair would be that smooth lol....it looks really great

  • how does the curls look the next morning and through out the week with this method? and what do you use on the hair through out the week to keep the curls, if they stay?

  • I hate doing my own hair. Your arms get so tired. I would have to get someone to do that for me.

  • wow u got skills!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • where do u get the end wraps from?

  • BEAUTIFUL! And those asking about Miss Jessies...you can order it off the internet. Google it.

  • verry cute!!!

  • Where Can YOu Get the Curling Pudding I went to Sallys and they didnt have any idea of what i was talking about lol so can you please tell me message me comment tell me thanks

  • i never thought you could put spiral curls in natural hair, when my natural hair gets a little longer, i'm definately gonna try this style. where do you get the miss jessie's pudding? Your hair came about absolutely beautiful!!!

  • please gone somewhere.

  • what kind of question is that...

jus because ur hair is natural doesnt mean u cant dye it...

my hair is natural nd im thinkin bout addin color to it... sooo...

  • what is the definition of natural hair?

    not yours, but "the?"

  • sexyzuri03- natural as in nothing to alter my curl pattern. so don't come on here like you are going to correct me

  • your hair looks as if its the same texture as mine... when rolling my hair i use regular setting lotion it comes out beautiful everyone thought i put a relaxer in my hair

  • Yes what other product would you suggest besides Mrs Jessy, bc here in Mobile, Al we dont have that. And how did u protect your hair at night? Meaning how did you cover or what did you use to protect your curls?

  • Now that's a really cute style! Short hair never looked so cute!! Nice work!

  • Wow...this looks GORGEOUS!!! Great job.

  • OMG...I so didn't know that I could do this with natural hair! I am glad you showed us natural sisters we can have some diversity with our hair too! Thanks so much.

  • As you said, nice & curly !! good job pretty miss !! :)

  • Wow, I never knew you could achieve a look like that with natural hair! I'm going to transition right away! Forget relaxers!

  • yayyyyy! Welcome sistah!!!!

  • This is one of my favorite hairstyles that you have done...it shows that you don't need a perm to get the same hair style as someone with a perm!

  • whats an alternative product that i can use instead of miss jessy's? somethin that i can get @ the local beauty supply store?

  • Ive dicided to go natural...In the process of transitioning I'm going to try this style...hope it comes out how yours did...

  • Your hair is so beautiful! Question. Can you tell me if you think the Kinky Curly custard Pudding would work with a rollerset as the Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding. And if there's any help you can give me far as things to use to help in maintaining moisture in my hair. I've been natural for 2 1/2 years, but still trying to get grip on how to experiment with different styles.

    Thanks for you Help,

    Darkandloveable1

  • luvin ur hair n the way u style it lol.

jus one question. . . do u hav a texterizer?? cuz if would do some of ur styles on ma hair it would not turn out the same. . .

  • gossipme13- no i never texturize. don't believe in them. to me if you texturize then you aren't really natural as far as your curl pattern is concerned

  • This style is pretty but I have used miss jessie's curly pudding before and was very disappointed. The overpowering smell and ultra-slippery texture did nothing for my 4B hair; I like the Cantu shea butter leave-in cream much better--and it's cheaper.

  • is there another product other than miss jessies i can use to set my hair

  • something with similar or at least some creamyness to it, would be either the Hair Milk or Healthy Hair Butter by Carol's Daughter. I prefer the hair butter because shea butter is in a larger quantity in it and has that texture to it, where the hair milk is more liquidy. It depends on what works for your hair.

  • dis is pretti

  • Approximately, how long does this style last on your natural hair?

  • vonnicaw- a week

  • hiii.. im transitioning.. againn..:p

can you maybe do a straw set tutorial??

    thanks in advance!!

  • You rocked that, I didn't like the results of me using the curly pudding on just a twist out, however, I will try this style. I have 3c hair and your's looks as if you have 3c as well. Great Vid, very informative

    Thanks
