One of the best vids on YT........the original posting was taken down about a year ago because of comments from iqzero's who just hadn't the capacity to watch it without posting 'warism' type stuff.....plenty of 'F' words, except, of course, the one which accurately described themselves......FAIL!

This is about pilots and flying - it is a brilliantly edited video, both footage and music-wise...I just wish I could recall the YT name of the original poster.

not 100% correct, but also @ leandros05: Their budget is limited. They have very few planes, mostly interceptors. And yes, their models are not 100% up to date. But you should never forgetm because their ressource pool is limited, they cannot allow "average" pilots to fly them. Their pilots are, like Germany's and Denmark's ones, simply Elite. Not like the US for example, who have technical superiority, no doubt, But their pilots are - averagely - less talented.

The screening in switzerland is the most stringent and rigid one in Europe, and their training is one of the hardest ones. Ask the latest RedFlag Data, for example. Yes, they will never be able to launch an attack, but this is not their intention. They must secure the swiss air space, and like their army it has mostly denfensive capabilities. BUT - they fulfill this 110%.

My point of view is that you can judge an airforce out of their activity.What i want to say here is that is obvius that other countries have a lot more expert air forces than the swiss, thats why i say that is a bit to much to say that they are the best.... Take for example the Israel the Greeks the Turks, all of them are always in war mode.

In those situations yo can see ho is really up for it. In extreme stress situations you must react correctly.And i dont think that the swiss had ever been in war situation for many years now. I respect them but they are average as an airforce.
