  • Wow what an amazing speech.

  • Very well said, amazing job. I am blown away.

  • I take my hat off to you Sir. you are articulate beyond the measure of any artificial intelligence the ignorant possess.

  • Comment removed

  • im not asian tho but i rly agree with u, i dont know why ppl think chinese talk like this ''CHING CHONG PING PONG'' i know hw annoying that is bcuz ppl like to make fun of our african language too

  • im white, there need to be more people like this on our planet

  • Thank you so much. What you said articulated my thoughts upon Asian stereotypes perfectly. It needed to be said. (:

  • @godessoflove2468 its not that big of a deal. it was just jibberish that he took wayyyy out of proportion. I say ching chang chong to asians all the time, and so do the people at my school. And after a few fights, we go get drunk together and have 3 somes. No harm done. Stop being so sensitive! and the dude in this vid did the same thing. That was terrible Manderan, it made my ears bleed, but im not offended. im blue btw.

  • @ikcjjtt I'm asian and my friend says "ching chang chong" to me ALL THE TIME. I act as if I don't care and I do nothing about it. But a couple of days later, I always feel as if I should've done something. But I never do.... The the Ching Chang Chong thing has gotten too far, that some people don't even know that it's a racial slur..... like this kid in my school......

  • @PeaceLoveAndCrafts u know my nephew once came to me after a portuguese kid called him a nigger. He didn't quite know what to do (he was really young), so he asked me. I told him its simply a word to insult you, like idiot, asshole, ect. Just ignore the guy and go about your business. You have more important things to do than deal with ignorance. He was training for a soccer team in Brazil. Take what u want from that story. Let words have power over u or u have power over words, its your choice.

  • You are a breath of fresh hair in a stifling atmosphere.

  • im black

  • After watching this it feels weird to be white. Never in my life have I experienced any sweeping generalizations or stereotypes based on my heritage. I think a lot of people in my position do what they do because they've never been on the receiving end of stereotypes, so they don't understand what message that they send to others. But shit, Rosie is a lesbian, you would think she would be smarter than that.

  • SIMPLY AMAZING!!! Im a black guy,.. and felt i this in the core. dude is speaking mad truth right here!... wish this could be broadcasted on news.

  • Hell yea bro, you fkin said it all. Fk that fatass bitch.

  • Chill ching chong chee. It's just a noise you make with your mouth. Why you no like ching chong chee?

  • Too much, jesus christ its just chingchong 請充

  • I have pride in this video, not because i'm Asian but because I'm an American and a human. I love this message.

  • Ok, I get the message, but he should be attacking the REAL racists. Rosie O'Donnell is NOT a racist, AT ALL. You need to attack the people who are really racist, not the people who happen to say 'ching chong' one time. You expect Rosie to know anything about Chinese? I know many Chinese people and I took Mandarin class, but my impression of the Chinese language probably wouldn't be much better.

  • Thumbs up if you WISH you were Asian so you could have some pride.

  • you mad bro?

  • She does great imitations. Pig rolling in shit. Pig oinking. Pig eating. Pig mating.

  • ASIAN POWER!!

  • wait, why is it offensive? i really dont understand

  • i just realized that ching chong combined with the swinging bat means.

too bad it's a sad realization

    Vincent Wong RIP

  • @southkorean1988 vincent chin..

  • CHing CHong?

It's the name of a person in a child's nursery ryme trying to sell his china (cheap cupps and such)

Only remember the first line which is "Ching Chong the china man sitting on a fence, trying to make a dollar out of 15 cents"(bad translation?)

TIng Tong is also a name of a Historical Merchant that would have put his European Counterpart Marco Polo to shame

Ling Long is the Legendary Alchemist that supposedly invented gunpowder(supposedly a demi0god) and it's use in "thundersticks"

  • I'm a black man and ching chong offends me. Just let me know the states were in and that nothing much really has changed since civil rights days. Exceptional vid my friend.

  • The quality of argument and diction in our young folk is improving.

  • half the world is Asian. Do we know that?

  • Love the production of this video and your heartfeltness. Indeed "ching chong" is a shit expression of Chinese

  • I am disgusted too when I hear anyone using "ching chong" to stereotype Asians. I grew up with many Asian friends that I still consider to be like family and it even hurts me when I hear people being so racist and not realizing what effect it has. All people of this world are beautiful and we all have the same color of blood, and it is what's inside that matters!

  • this was amazing.

    thank you x

  • This video was so kick *ss. Do it!

  • Wow, very powerful, I applaud you, well said and then some!! ^_-

  • great job ~~

  • ma nigga

  • Well said.... Rosie is a WHITE TRASH... Enuff said.

  • Rosie got her ass kicked with this video!!

  • That was a very powerful video, thank you beausia.

  • That was the best speech on the "ching chong" issue ever!!!!!

  • you couldn't have said it more perfectly

  • Thumbs up if your asian and ur watching this and feels proud.

    asian pride<3

  • Comment removed

  • @coolmicah777 is it wrong if i thumbs up if i'm not asian.. but i'm proud of this vid? I'm an american living in asia and when I look back at americans, I have a much clearer understanding of their stupidity regarding anything foreign.

  • @b1rdn05 It's only as wrong as me Voting Up your comment. ;)

  • Truly a great statement. I applaud this man.

  • words are what you allow them to be by freaking out over what a COMEDIAN says is fucking retarded words only have the power you give them im half black and you can call me a mudblood nigger and id laugh cause who are you to tell me what i am

  • Very well donevideo and bang on. She is a terrible human being. Why is she so insecure?

  • Amazing!!!!!!

  • great vid

  • beau sia... you are a beautiful human being

  • We are all ignorant in some areas and I think the cure for that is not getting defensive about it, the cure is to educate this people. I like your video and approach to the situation, good video :P

  • well said!

  • Ching Chong Ching Chong

and there part i can't say it something like a hau ma

  • well done .. another reason to hate that fat fuck of a beast

  • I loved this video so much I watched it a second time. It makes me feel good about the world, and horrible at the same time. Why can't I know anyone that cool? :(

  • Speaking as an Asian American or simply as a person, thank you

  • @The3rdHiltonSister Hugs to you and your need to hate.I am nit sure you have a true grasp on beauty. This man is beautiful inner and out. Ok, so you don;t see it and that is your opinion but why the hateful and need to feel powerful and BAMF! poster using racist terms and nasty speech? I think you need to listen to his video again and replace some of the terms with ones that apply to you. Apologize and maybe he will forgive you like Rosie and this man did. Peace out and sir..AWESOME VIDEO

  • @The3rdHiltonSister You are so racist it makes me sick. If you were going to insult anyone It should be you. Grow up you heartless bitch.

  • @The3rdHiltonSister wow, i don't even know where to start on how wrong you are. asians are one of the most attractive races in the world, and it just so happens that americans are more racist than the asians, if they are racist to begin with. YOU RACIST B*%CH!

  • @The3rdHiltonSister You disgust me. People like you give the rest of us Americans a bad name. What you have said here embodies the mass mindset of all the ignorant and blatantly racist airheads of the world, a group to which you definitely belong.

Anyway, Beau, this video was beautiful. <3

  • @The3rdHiltonSister if asians are the least "ATTRAVE" race in the world, then Americans MUST be the most brainless race, this is your language we are speaking and you can't even spell words within your own language. I will take intelligence over the superficial every time.

  • @redsoxvette were you paying attention to the video and what he was saying? he is simply saying that what Rosie was saying was ignorant. He doesn't have a complex towards white people. He is trying to make a point that when other people use the phrase "ching chong" is something that the asian community finds somewhat insulting. and what do you mean he is too defensive and angry? he wanted to make a point and that's what he did. the purpose was to inform not "stir hate". you ignorant cow.

  • Comment removed

  • Rosie...you are a fat pig...plain & simple. I would love to smack the sh!t out of you.

  • @pricenice After hearing this intelligent and articulate man speak, THIS is what you respond with??! He reached out to her and she profusely apologized.....don't be an ass.

  • This.is.amazing!

  • pwned.

  • How can a person be so beautiful? You're gorgeous, Mr. Sia. I wish more people were like you.

  • Does this mean we can't say ching chong anymore;)

  • @Nathanielotaku are you retarded....

  • @DannIU4 ching chong?

  • The little fangirls who defend this arrogant windbag still don't get it. O'Donnell got on her high horse lecturing others about political correctness. When people call her out for being un-PC, she pulls the victim card and points to two Asians women in her audience (she's still doing it). As far as I am concern that makes her fair game.

Beau could have made a joke about O'Donnell is addicted to viagra, but he won't do it. Thats because HE HAS CLASS!

  • Wow very good video... excellent filming and excellent message. This is getting out of control, and it's not even the racism thing... it's respect in general (yes RESPECT! racism is DISrespect for those of you who could not deduce that for yourselves). There are far too many people who think they can say whatever they want and get away with it, do whatever they want and get away with it. The world is on the dawn of a new age, and that new age will bring with it reform, hopefully the right kind.

  • Bravo you have a great point but why do you have so many different video angles? It is distracting to watch the video cut to the side of your head every five seconds.

  • ching chong ching is a stereotype racial slurr.

She's stupid, that's why taken off that show.

  • i see no reason why people must dislike this video ==

this is what SMART people say......

not that i'm being biased, but everything he just said... WORD

  • beautiful

  • 1:42 SNAP!!!

  • At 1:53 do some Asians secretly hate themselves? And why?

  • was this made before or after the alexandra wallace debacle?

  • @tomaf 4 years ago! This was WAY before the Alexandra Wallace debacle. Also, he made a video about the Alexandra Wallace debacle (his most recent video on his channel)

  • As an Asian member of the queer community, I commend you.

  • How kind of him to appoint himself as the emperor of Asians. Everyone has fixed assumptions about the world because it's impossible to know everying. Even the smartest can't make the case that they do not possess some fixed ideas. If Rosie had spent 7 years learning Chinese she would have realized how off she was, but she didn't. I don't think we live the rest of our lives apologizing for what is our human nature- the fraction of knowledge we possess.

  • Beau keeping it solid.

    thanks for sharing

  • Words can not express on how awsome this is, i'm not asian but it really spoke to me so much. You sir are a true artist :')

  • *Claps* Fo' Sho ! Speak The Truthhh (:

  • Beautifully told.

  • Dude, you're a loser. You don't get comedy whatsoever. When people pretend to be other people, it is funny. That's a staple of comedy. Margaret Cho made a fucking career out of it. But we all know the real issue here is that you're a racist. Because when a white person does it, it's a hate crime. Racist.

  • @ambidextrality lol you're an idiot.

  • sicced it

  • Whenever a Rosie O'Donnell or an Alexandra Wallace comes out with some offensive/racist/vitriolic rant or sound bite, I want to apologize on behalf of all white people. But it's exhausting and I'm committing the same offense on some level because I'm making a sweeping generalization about a "race" of people. I think it's an unfortunate fact that the meanest and most ignorant of us (all people) have a tendency to be the loudest. That being said, it's words like yours that should be listened to.

  • What was so offensive to me as an Asian American about the Rosie O'donnel nonsense was that the crowd laughed and cheered after she said it. It is just a sad realization that people in the US are still ignorant as ever. Even reading some of the comments in this video you can see some of the bigotry and hatred that still exists. Racism is still so prevalent and its a faded dream to think that it will ever go away.

  • @Mitsuho629 Imitating other people is funny. If you studied any comedy show, you'd understand this. It's not the same thing as being racist. It makes people laugh. Grow the fuck up. This country is filled with a bunch of self righteous crybaby sissies that can't take a joke. Unless it's made by an Asian or about white people or another race, of course. Hypocrites.

  • There are some people who get extremely offended when another person imitates them. yet people laugh because it's funny. It's not about how accurately one imitates the other, in fact I'm sure you'd still be offended. But it does not equal racist. I think the problem is that Asians do not get comedy and that explains why there are few Asian comics. That and they're particularly sensitive with an inferiority complex.

  • @ambidextrality There's actually a lot of Asian comics, you probably just too ignorant and stupid to know that.

  • @MexicanInvasionPride I can think of a few, not a lot. And they're not funny.

  • @ambidextrality and guess what? People didn't think Rosie was funny either. Not Beau, not Donald Trump, not Kelly. You're dumb and I find Asian comedians a lot funnier than whatever Rosie has done. So keep crying White guilt because nobody cares.

  • @MexicanInvasionPride People did find her funny. The audience laughed and it was kind of like WTF when Asians were such crybabies about it. You need to look at the person and ask if a negative intent was there. There was no negative intent, therefore it is funny. Asians don't seem to get how comedy works. A comedian is not the KKK so get a friggin clue. Seriously.

  • @ambidextrality LOL do you realize the audience is there support the view and the audience is mostly not Asian. Of course they're going to laugh! just like I'm laughing at your cry baby comments as if Asians are the only ones who complain about cheap racial jokes. Tell that to the Black community who got Imus fired for saying "Nappy Headed Hoes". You obviously have an agenda against Asians.

  • @MexicanInvasionPride Yes, I realize that, and I also realize it's funny to Asians when they make fun of whites, and they fucking do. So why don't you fucking get some perspective before you play the race card like a gigantic hypocritical pussy?

  • @ambidextrality and people find a lot of the Asian comedians funny, even if you don't. You're arguing something that makes no sense and have no regards for history. You're using an extreme and taking it out of your ass. Shut the fuck up.

  • @WhiteGuysAsianGirls So you're telling me that decades ago something that someone did in malice to someone that was the same race as you by someone who might be the same race as someone else today, in jest is offensive. Isn't that racist? Why would you hold someone responsible for something they did not do, just because they're white? You're clinging to the past in a pathological way to justify white hate.

  • @MexicanInvasionPride The only exception is Margaret Cho, and her whole career is mimicking Asians and black drag queens. A lot of the Asians are doing ching chong right now, and that's okay, as long as it's an Asian person and not a white person, otherwise you're a ignorant bigot. That's racist.

  • Even as a kid who didn't really think about race politics, "ching chong ching chong" really did bother me for how not-accurate it was. I didn't really understand bigotry back then so it just felt sort of lazy. 'course now it's a bit more worrisome. It's just as inaccurate as it was back then, but now I see how much you would have to not care about adequately understanding or representing a group to rely on it. The fact that it's not really shocking is even more worrisome.

  • and to the "fact observers", this isn't about Rosie O'donnell, this is about all the ignorant idiots who still chooses to look at things they don't understand with the pettiest perspectives and not see how incredibly small they really are.

  • genius, i cannot thank you enough for this

  • Alexandra Wallace needs to watch this video! lol.

  • @StylinOut Alexandra Wallace this name looks equivalent with "boobs"

  • nice...you got a powerful voice and very intellect.

  • Your brain just... works soo.... ugh. can't describe it. amazing.

    so mean, but so gentle.

  • U GREAT !!!!

  • So,my point is this speech helped Rosie I think unless something else happened I haven`t heard about.

  • This video got 675,897 views but the video response with her apology has only 11,527 views.

Rosie apologized. I`m not a fan of hers but I`m trying to be a unbiased observer of facts. I haven`t heard of her doing this again in 4 years.

  • @lakemarygardens her apology wasn't really sincere. When she actually responded, she didn't think it was offensive and used the excuse that her hair stylist didn't find it racist then the camera guy shifted to two Asians to side with Rosie.

On the other hand, Rosie flipped out when another woman from the talk show Reggis & Kathy did a hand motion to imitate Clay Aiken because he's gay and Rosie flipped out. LOl she's a hypocrite.

  • @MexicanInvasionPride Do you mean how Kelly Ripa was disgusted when Klay Akin put his hand over her mouth, saying No no, I don't know where that hand has been? She was angered by it and disgusted, and it did not come off as a joke exactly because she was bothered and then insulted him. Kelly isn't all that great at comedy and her actions could be misinterpreted as homophobic. Different intent. Comedy is where you did not actually intend to hurt anyone.

  • @MexicanInvasionPride That is why I don`t watch TV very much.

  • Comment removed

  • nice man

  • Amen!

  • Well said!!!!

  • lord that was good.. do you ever do shows in san francisco?

  • This is truly inspirational. Your articulation is magnificent, much respect.

  • omg!

Why am I only finding out about this vid. now?

  • Fat lesbian cows shouldn't talk cause all i hear is MOOOOOO

  • You sir, have made excellent points and also made my day.

  • This is great

  • I still did not get what is the big deal...

  • GO TO HELL ROSIE! BITCH PIG! HAHHA

  • OH MY. You are so awesome that my CAPS HAS STUCK. LOVE LOVE LOVE :) :)

  • Ohhhh ching chong ting long ohhhh....

  • very well put, can't even begin to sa...type how true, and honest this video is in reguards to the topic, which is never an easy thing todo with out truely getting very emotional. as it is hard to get past ones pride. but when a person gets past it. I truely hope person can learn to forgive.

  • Bravo. Well said.

  • Damn.... dis is deep.

  • ur goood!!, beautifully spoken!

  • You should make the same, for Alexandra Wallace..

  • @solangesand he did, he made a persona poem, talking as though he was in her shoes but talking about wider themes

  • i agree but the end was kind of corny no offense. just ignore ignorant ppl, i ignore my stupid brother everyday

  • this is art.

  • i've never liked roise.

  • that was beautiful

  • Whats with his hair? Jesus.

  • white ppl are dumb don't try to explain anything to them

    me half-asian

  • @comandarshapard I am full Asian, I live an area predominately filled with Asians or Asian mixed people and to be honest, you are no better than Rosie with your comment. It may not be as bad, or maybe it is, depending on who's viewing your comment, but just because someone is of Caucasian ancestry does NOT mean that they are dumb. Do not assume. Do not act that you are somehow superior because you are "half asian".

  • @andagii that generally depends on each person, i simply comment what i see i don't feel superior or anything

and not all caucasians .... just white ameticans XD

  • @comandarshapard Those are still people with Caucasian ancestry. I know a LOT of Caucasian / Haole / White Americans who are smart and are not stupid. It does not depend on the country, it depends on how their raised, how they choose to learn things, and the likes.

  • @Jmccain1881 That's nice, it's interesting that for someone who can write English that you can't understand it. Perhaps you should go back to school, they should help you learn how to understand English so you can become more fluent, as it is obvious that you are very low in understanding English when someone is speaking.

  • This video needs more cuts.

  • @CobaltMetal You see this thing its called a- DICtionary.

  • Have you caught wind of the UCLA girl bashing on Asians yet? I thought of this video when I heard about it.

  • I like that this video is a strong work providing perspective. I am one of those people who secretly thinks stereotypes are funny including ones I fall into), but that's me. I can laugh at myself, some people can't. I think being able to laugh at certain forms of ignorance makes the world more interesting. I think this video is powerful but I admit that it has some humor to me because of how strongly it addresses reality. I can laugh in appreciation and applaud conviction. I laugh too much.

  • @skatardrummer Me too, sometimes.

  • Comment removed

  • this was well stated and articulate, and I do not like Rosie O'Donnell, I don't think she is funny, interesting or important. There is so much talent and comedic artists out there and she's wack.

  • last night's family guy after peter's car accident:

Death flipping Peter over: "Please be Rosie O Donnel, Please be Rosie O Donnell, Please be Rosie O Donnell...damn it!! ......wait.....is it?"

  • this guy is amazing!!!

  • rosie o'donnell suxs ,she is a chick who wishes she has a dick !!!!!

  • Check out "Rush Limbaugh Chinese Accent Imitation" on TheYoungTurks channel.

  • Why is everyone giving so much attention to that ignorant skank?

  • CHINGCHONG IS THE NIGEEEER OF THE WOOOOOORLD!!

    I love Lennon

  • I like what you say, but your argument is distracted by three points: it's delivered with arrogance not passion; you unnecessarily refer to O'Donnell's size and sexuality (it's irrelevant to your message), and you call O'Donnell 'darling' which certainly is not PC language, but a term commonly regarded by women as sexist and belittling.

  • @ricotta. The point that he was trying is make is that O'Donnell faced discrimination because of her size and sexuality-She should have known better. If you want to look at arrogance , you should watch the video Rosie on Rush's Hu mocking where she ask 'why imitating Chinese sounds so much worse than babbling a bunch of bonjours and sil'vous-plaits and calling yourself french?' I'm not surprise that Rosie or her fangirls haven't changed one bit.

  • @ricottafresh. You're right that 'darling' should not have been used. He should have said that "Rosie is a no-talent oaf who would be found in a pool of vomit at a local dive bar." I have a low opinion of females in the media thanks to Sarah Palin, Rosie O'Donnell, Michelle Malkin and Chelsea Handler.

  • i lol'd so hard

  • 752 people are queers!
