@nickelodeon8911 lol if your childhood started "via 1974", then why are you arguing with a bunch of teenagers over a decade that didn't even include your childhood? You were what, 19 years old in 1990!? I can't imagine a 40 year old arguing with kids over this type of stuff..1
I remember being so excites when my librarian wheeled out the tv and it had a wishbone tape sitting next to it. I had catdog and rugrats on tape and I remember curling up with my beanie babies watching it. I also remember yelling at my little brother because he didn't know what Reptar was... XD even though I'm older now I still watch all the 90's shows on Teenick every night ^.^ clarissa still explains it all the right way!
Holy crap! this was really nice! I remember most of this shows! it was great! now I have a question...what up with the 92 childs of Indigo stuff and the hybrids?
"Larger numbers of Indigo children started arriving around 1992. In fact, if your child was born after 1992, there is a good chance you have an Indigo child. Remember that this isn’t a bad thing, you are blessed to have a Star child, so feel honored that you have been given this incredible gift."
Now if that doesn't contradict all the junk I usually read about who the "real 90's kids are" I don't know what will.
No....all 92 borns from jan-nov are hybrids as well...biologically and by majority of people...there is no reason not to include all the scorpios of 92 to be hybrids...it doesn't matter when u are born in a year that is considered 90's kid...just as long as u were able to say goo goo gah gah that same year...lol
Not to worry! The "2000's kids and teens" are the REAL 90's kids. "90's" is just a loose term. 1996 is a great year!!! If you were born in the first half, you're a combo of Gen X/Y/and potentially Z. If you're born in the later half, you're likely Gen Y/Z. Isn't that awesome? xD AND CONFUSING!? lol
@clarinetzrox678 no you clueless twat! generation x goes until 1974. 1975-1979 is x/y cusp, 1980-1992 is generation y, 1993-1997 is y/z cusp and 1998 onwards is generation z. Generations are demographics not technology you fool. also, grunge has passed by 97? "Touch, Peel And Stand" by Days Of The New came out in late 97, so did "Bleed together" by Soundgarden.
If you have to call me a twat in order to justify an argument, that's just pathetic. Gen X left a mark that went well into the 90's and even the early 2000's. Where do you think bands like Blink 182 got their inspiration? The sky?
Demographics? Technology is everything that we are. And I didn't say grunge was out all together. I said the kids born in those years after wouldn't be as familiar with it as those who came before them.
@clarinetzrox678 Gen X is those born from 1965-1976 it's not a cuture silly. If you are talking about the 85/86-91/92 culture with power ballads, glam metal with bands like Europe, Guns N Roses etc. that's the hair metal culture. The core 90s culture had grunge and lasted from erly 90s -1997. Millenium culture lasted from 1998-2002. But that's irrelevant to people's age groups and world events.
Metal is Generation X. Those born after 1993-1997 might not be as familiar with it. But grunge alone is not what made the 90's. It was the technology, politics, and pop culture geared towards children. That's why many of the good children shows came out from 1996-2004. THEY were the ones that brought all this together. THEY'RE the ones with the memories.
@clarinetzrox678 I know that grunge wasn't ALL the 90s but it was a main part of it. And metal generation x? Black Sabbath's debut album came out in 1970 and someone born in 1965 was 5 then true, bu there is still metal out there today, maybe not in the mainstream so much apart from bands like Metallica, but it's there.
If there's one thing I can't stand on this page, it's a fucking poser. It's bad enough kids born between 1993-1995 claiming that they're a '90s kid, but now I'm seeing 1997-1999 babies claiming that shit as well. Get the fuck over it, youngsters. If you weren't born in between 1984-early 1988, then you're not a '90s kid. 1978-1982 babies are true '90s teenagers/pre-adults, late 1988-early 1992 babies are half '90s kids, and late 1992-1998 babies are real 2000s kids.
That's a bunch of crap. And must you use profanity to get a point across? The true 90's kids, 1984-1987 and 1993-2004 don't find that intelligent. 1976-1983 were Gen X/Y. And you can't be half of something! You either are or YOU'RE NOT. Gen Y/Z was 1997-2004. They're good, smart kids. 1984-1996 excluding 1988-1991 to an extent were somewhere in between. The real 90's kids know better.
@clarinetzrox678 Okay. So maybe I had a major hot temper that time. My point is that I'm just saying that late '90s babies can't claim a decade they didn't even grew up in. Someone who was at least 3 in 1991 is a real '90s kid, because they had to experience their childhood in between 1991-1996, which is the primary '90s culture. Even though 1991-1993 had some '80s influence, those years were mostly heavier in the '90s culture.
Nothing you're saying is in any way original. I've heard it all before. 1997-1999 made the whole decade. Bore somebody else. Kids born in the late 80's and early 90's are not necessarily special because they say they would've remembered more. That's so stupid. Most people are just saying that now, because being a "90's kid" is "in" now.
@clarinetzrox678 When the fuck did I say 1997-1999 made the whole fucking decade? That period was part of the new millennium culture. I really don't know what way to explain this without losing my fucking temper again, but I was just pointing out that those born in between 1997-1999 claiming that they're '90s kids are fucking posers. That's all I was saying. I ain't the type of guy to spread arrogance in any way.
Millennium culture was 90's culture! Posers? So lame, so lame. These kids are 100% real. Why else would internet come out in 1995 and not before? So all these lame and unoriginal arguments are invalid. And for the record, the early 90's sucked. The clothes and music were reasonable, but still 80's. Clinton was the one who got stuff in line.
What dick? People like you don't have guts. You talk a big game, but all you do is criticize and complain! Any years prior to 1997 had 80's culture in it. 1993-1997 was a transition period. 1997-2004 had all the good stuff. I can talk until I'm blue in the face, and gladly stand up for these kids, because I know what they're up against.
@clarinetzrox678 Criticize? Complain? In what fucking way did I criticize anyone? All I said is that I don't appreciate arrogant kids born in the late '90s claiming a decade that they didn't even fucking grow up in. I see kids like that as posers, which I can't stand. So I don't see how that makes these kids you're referring to as "100% real." And you're probably one of them as well.
Absolutely not. You act like you're doing somebody a favor by calling them out. Those kids are genuine and you know it! People like you are just not that smart. And I can stand up for those kids without actually BEING ONE OF THEM. Anyone can look out for their own neck, but it takes time and decency to look out for others. (something you're not familiar with) To all the kids BORN IN THE 90'S, ignore these clowns. You are destined to do great things.
Rather than point out what the kids aren't doing right, do something to help them! Oh, yeah. That would be your time and energy wasted. And a decade is not limited to a ten year period. What a sorry misconception. 1980-1996; 1997-2004
With a 4 year grace period MIGHT I ADD, meaning any kid born after 2008 is not likely to have much of a connection with Generation Y. They're good kids regardless, though, and probably more knowledgeable than these chumps on youtube!
@clarinetzrox678 How the fuck am I calling any of these "genuine kids" out? I respect that they like the '90s better than the shitty 2000s, but when they claim to be a '90s kid when they were really infants/toddlers for most of the decade, that's when I see arrogance. I don't like kids like that. I was born in early 1971 and I will confidently admit that I'm not a full '70s kid, because I missed 1970-1973 and my childhood started via 1974.
Then why are you on here spoiling the fun for everybody else? Does that make sense? My input ends here. And the "2000's weren't shitty", thank you. Infact, I think most of the 2000's decade was much safer for children. You can't speak for everyone. Just because you don't consider yourself a 70's kid doesn't mean other kids can't have their say. You'll never see a real 90's kid running their mouth like this.
@clarinetzrox678 Of course I won't. Because those real '90s kids are speaking the fucking true. '80s babies are true '90s kids. If you weren't at least 3 throughout the majority of the true '90s culture (1991-1996, not the millennium culture), you're not a real '90s kid. That's the truth, homie. Real talk.
@clarinetzrox678 And explain to me how the fuck am I "spoiling the fun for everyone else?" I never said anything like "you kids can't look at this video because you're not a real '90s kids." I just said that it's great they appreciate the '90s and I respect that, but I dislike the fact that they claim to be a '90s kid when their childhood mostly penetrated in the 2000s. And what the fuck makes the 2000s a "much safer decade for children?" I'm perplexed.
I will conclude that the real “90s” kids, were born after a lot of that crazy 80’s stuff was gone. These kids, generally born as early as 1993 and as late as 2002, are kind and sensitive. You can call them weak and immature all you want, but they were the ones that made the decade. So all of these simple minded kids born before 1993 really aren't as special as they think they are. How pathetic. Ruining the minds of children that were destined to shine.
Wow I havnt had a smile this big on my face in forever...sense idk maybe the 90s lol...26 years old now and can't believe how unbelievably old I feel now that I had this amazing flashback. Thank u so much...damn time flys
i know i was young (1994) but i feel imma 90s kid because i remember all these shows and they still hold a lot of value to me and there were a lot of good times back then. So ridicule me for young and saying imma 90s kid but i really feel i am =3
To me, 1993 is the cuttoff year for being a 90's kid. Being born in 1997 is not a 1990's kid. I was born in 97, my little cousin in '07, I'm not a 90's kid just like she isnt a '00s kid.
Just to let those born 93 on up know, that there is a difference between just being.a kid in the 90s(spending a few years of childhood in the 90s) and being a kid of the 90s(spending most of or half childhood in the 90s) I was born in 1991, so I spent at least half or a bit more than half my childhood in the 90s
I was born in 93 so I don't know if people will consider that a "90's kid", but I do remember the "bubble gum bubble gum in a pot..." to select who was going to be the seeker in hide and go seek :D Oh and Blues Clues was big, I was big time into Goosbumps too! I even have all the VHS Cassette's like Kipper, Land Before Time, Space Jam, Flubber, etc. Amazing time period that was, so much fun where you could just have fun, and you didn't have to deal with going to college and all that crap.
Super fucking nintendo. I played mine just the other day. Me and my friends all get high and play that thing. All three donkey kongs and super marios. Best system ever made. that thing never tears up.
Makes me sad to know those times are long gone.... Oh how I wish to go back, those times just flew by like they were nothing.... Things today, I would give up all that to go back to those times.
@Stronghercules1989 how is it more than half if i was born in 94, do simple math or go back to school. i rember these shows because i would be damnded if i was to miss a night without watching them that was the only thang to do not like there were lap tops or ipods and cell phones dident have txting being young you dont read books. you got ears and eyes and your brain does store a little memory
dont talk shit it dosent matter if you were born late 80 or late 90 we all went through it just some went through more. born in 94 i rember about 95% of this stuff and more like ferby and not just double dare but double dare 2000 and flinstones and johnny bravo, when n sync and back street boys, smash mouth were the major bands on the radio. playing crash bandit on the ORIGINAL playstation insted of hateing on people hate on universal studion for turning nick studios into the blue man group
@eazycheezie see this is why you are cealry too young to be a 90s kid. you think flintstones was the 90s? lol you are decades out. you "remember" re-runs that aired, possibly around the time you were 9 in 2003. If I asked you about when Windows 95 was out, you were only an infant at the time. If I asked you when Princess Diana died, you were only 3 years old at the time. A child is mostly someone who is at school and you were 6-10 in 2000-2004. You are easily a 2000s kid and in no way a 90s kid.
@Stronghercules1989 every one is going to see reruns big fucking deal they still play fresh prince i rember what i kid needs to rember the hottest toys and cartoons not a princes that dies in a tunnle in London. just because i dident us a computer in the 90s dosent mean i dident use windows 95 liveing it out of school ment i got to see more of this shit then you because i damn sure know you wernt watching this shit in school stop being a prick and get over it
sorry but if you are still in school you couldnt be a full kid in the 90s take someone born in 88 and take someone born 93 you probably remember the stuff after it came out later towards the late 90s someone born in 88 remembers when all the stuff came out
I was born 96 and i remember all of this . Ppl who say tht 96 arnt 90s kids are liars. Its all about if you remember. Btw legend of the hidden temple was the shit
@chowderfan999 you don't remember this stuff though, you "remember" re-runs. And besides, if I asked you about what Windows 95 was like, YOU WEREN'T EVEN BORN YET when it came out. Being a 90s child requires more than just rememering being a toddler in 99 you stupid creature. You were 4-13 from 2000-2009 so you are comfortably a 2000s kid and in no way a 90s kid.
@Stronghercules1989 honestly reruns usually also have a limit just like original shows. like theres no way a person born in say 98 could have possibly watched constant 90s reruns in the mid-late 00s because by then there would be too many 00s shows present to give space to the reruns unless they watched specialized channels like nicktoons or boomerang that only airs 90s shit. most of the 90s reruns pretty much stopped airing on a regular basis on the original channels around 04-05.
@Stronghercules1989 well they most likely had older siblings to help them discover the stuff. they probably seen the reruns in the early 00s. or if not they probably seen the stuff through specialized channels running til today. i mean even my little cousin born in 01 can recall some 90s things cause i always switched the channel to 90s cartoon channels like nicktons since he was practially an infant and he got hooked on to the shows.
and another possibility is well they are just simply lying.
@omegaphoneofjesus You aren't even a 90s kid if you were born in 1995, even if you were born in 1994 or even 1993 you are still too young to be a 90s kid
@Jawskillaful I know that and you know that, but these kids still will think they're a 90s kid if they were BORN in the 90s so I figure 1995 is an easy compromise to make. But I don't believe it to be true.
I have pictures of me in the 90's with my friends and family to show proof...they r real becuz one of them was shot at my brother's 1998 jr prom and I was there mingling with everyone...I'll load them later..but I dnt have to lie about my great childhood..born 1992 ...last of the 90's kid.
@spartan828434 LOL no if you were still getting your diaper changed in 1998 you do NOT remember playing them in 99. Look, you do't fool anybody you were a 2000s kid who remembers NONE of the 90s.
I miss the 90's. They were like modern times but everything was normal + internet wasn't any this popular. I think without the internet our world could be still nearly like it was in the 90's or 80's...
@spartan828434 Okay, but if you went back to your childhood right now, it wouldn't be to the 90s at all. You weren't born yet in the early-mid 90s and you spent the late 90s being an infant. You were 3-12 in 2000-2009 you were clearly a child in the 2000s, you are too young to be a 90s child. I don't know how this can bring you "tears of joy and sadness" when you never experienced this except for maybe someone re-runs in 2004 or something. And living through an era means more than just cartoons.
@Stronghercules1989 oh and for some of the 00s kids talking about reruns. even reruns themselves usually also have their limits on how long they can continue to keep airing constantly. theres no way a 90s rerun can continue on a regular basis as far as 2006 or something cause by then there would be too many native 00s tv shows around to give enough space for the 90s reruns to keep airing.
some of the younger 00s kids born in like 98 or later probably saw those reruns on specialized channels.
@Stronghercules1989 Cause i can remember when I was an infant through vhs tapes that i watch home videos and such and how id react to the cartoons Ya know what i dont really care Love And tolerence Bitch
@spartan828434 Watching home videos of yourself in 2005 having your diaper changed in 1998 doesn't make you a 90s child. And like Iaid, the 90s was more than cartoons, it had it's own movies, music, video games and so on.
@Stronghercules1989 Bro im still rockin the Super nintendo And the 64 playin classics like 007 Golden eye, super mario world, super mario bros 3, Duke nukem 64, doom and doom 2, all the classics
@spartan828434 So what when did you start playing them? 2003? If you weren't there for the physical 90s, (being a baby doesn't count) you weren't a 90s child. Do you remember when Princess Diaan died?
@Stronghercules1989 I started playing in 99 actually and hell i dont remember anyone dieing ever except my grandpa other than that if your famous you could die and i wont know unless about 20 of my friends tell me cause i dont pay much attention to depressing shit
Man I miss the good ol'days..... Only if the kids could be able to watch the cartoons of the 90's and realize that the crap that is today is cheap knock offs that suck. let me get a hell yeah.!!
Okay, guys. '80s babies are tru '90s kids, a'ight. I know you '90s babies appreciate the '90s, and I respect that, but you can't call yourself a '90s kid, because being a toddler doesn't count. Childhood starts at age 3 when you go to preschool. If you were born in between 1989-EARLY 1992 (January - May), then that makes you a hybrid '90s kid. I was born on February 25, 1971, and I consider myself a '70s hybrid kid, as my childhood started 1974. So 1984-early 1988 born kids are true '90s kids.
@nickelodeon8911 Mostly correct, except the first half is Janaury-June 1992, not just to May. It's July 1982- December 1985 = older hybrid 90s child January 1986- December 1988 = true 90s child Janaury 1989 - June 1992 = Younger hybrid 90s child. Someone born in June of any year spends July-December (half+ since Februay is shorter + days in June after birthday) that's more than just half as well to be fair.
@Stronghercules1989 well that sucks for me according to your list it seem im a younger hyrbid 90s child since i was born so late in december 89 that i could have been almost born in 1990 a week later if my ma decided to keep me in her stomach a for little longer.
@deathball22 It really wouldn't matter if you were born on January 1, 1989. Either way, you're still a hybrid '90s kid. True '90s kids were born in between roughly 1984-early 1988, because their childhood started in between 1987-1991.
@deathball22 Late 1988-early 1992 born kids are hybrid '90s kids. Late 1992 through roughly early 1998 born kids are real '00s kids. Being born in early 1971, I am a hybrid '70s kid.
@nickelodeon8911 I agree the whole childhood starts when your 3-4. But your whole math makes no sense. If childhood starts when you're 3 wouldn't it be up to 1995-1996 because 90's kids, because they would be 4 or 5 when the 90's ends. So they would be kids when the 90's ended. And people born in 1989 were 11 and to me a kid goes from 3-12 so they weren't really a hybrid, they were a 90's kid. I was 6 when the 90's ended and I think that if you were a 'kid' in the 90's you were a 90's kid.
@Mikkixox9 If you were 6 when the 90s ended you can't reall call yourself a 90s kid that is less than half your childhood, yes you spent some chidhood years in the 90s but not enough
@Mikkixox9 Actually, someone born in 1992 would be seven years old once 1999 would end, and someone being born in 1989 would be 10 at that time. About 1989 babies, it's pretty perplexing. I mean they were toddlers in 1991 and wouldn't become children 'til 1992. At the same time, they would become teenagers in 2002. So I guess we could say that they're 85% '90s kids and 15% 2000s kids. Very perplexing now that I take a second look at it.
@nickelodeon8911 still I think anyone that was considered a kid before the 90's ended is considered a 90's kid. I mean I was 6 when the 90's ended so that makes me half 90's and half 00's kid. But I was born after 1992. '
89 is 80s right so why is 88 in but not 89-91? we were all toddlers in some point in the 90s even late 80s babies. just stating fact. plus 88 is too young to fully enjoy it from 90-99. they were just toddlers when it started. they wouldnt have known anything about lets say music wise johnny gill 1990 kid n play 87-91 and so on and so forth.
@ajbatesone while i may not remember the early 90s(born 89), 88ers still spent the majorty of their childhood in the 90s regardless of the fact that their childhood extended a little bit into the early 00s. but its more about being kids and not toddlers in the 90s, if that was the case then even kids born as far as 96 can claim the 90s in terms of toddlers and that doesnt sound right in terms of remembering the actual decade.
Well, it is right. It's about the impressionable years, not the years you have political viewpoints. 88ers-92ers are extremely bitter about this. I find it ridiculous. Maybe if you guys stopped jumping to wrongful conclusions, things would make more sense.
That's actually really stupid and inaccurate. 87-91 was not the true 90's identity. The true 90's identity started to emerge in 1993, 4, and 5, and ended in 2004. That means any of those kids had active and vivid participation, whether they realized it or not. Those toddler years are extremely important and impressionable. These are the kids that stay kids forever. Many of you are jealous of them. Kids born in 1984, 5, 6, and 7 have more in common with kids born in 1993-2004. What?
@clarinetzrox678 Hang on. Someone born in 1993 is a true 90s kid because they got the "true 90s identity"? And better yet the 90s ended in 2004? If you are talking about culture this is completely wrong. I'm guessing you were born in 93 or later which is why you don't remember mainstream grunge culture which anyone born BEFORE 93 has a chance of remembering. Mainstream grunge culture lasted from the early 90s until 1997 at the latest. Someone born in 93 was only turning 4 that year.
I am familiar with grunge thank you very much, and it wasn’t all that great. It catered to a small demographic. That’s not what Generation Y is all about. Grunge is rebellious and overrated, and this is coming from someone who loves Kurt Cobain just as much as the next person. The kids born after all that passed are the true 90’s kids. They don’t find rebelling against authority useful. They’re the kids that made the 90’s.
By the time 97 rolled in, grunge had just about passed, making room for the new kids that aren’t familiar with Generation X. And here’s where you ARE WRONG. Even if you were born after 1993, some may still be familiar with Gen X. (1993-1996 or 7) Contrary to your opinion, these kids are familiar with life before computers. They know life wasn’t always easy but are ready to move on regardless.
i am now 15 but i remember all of this stuff as a kid going outside causing trouble and pretending i was goku or power rangers with my friends while we did pakour now i am lazy cus i have a laptop
even tho i was born in the late 90's, i still remember half of these shows. i wish i born earlier in the 90's.... all the stupid shows they play today! it makes me depressed! 90's shows taught lessons to kids, nowadays they don't teach u anything!!!! ugh! i hate todays shows..... i stopped watching disney channel, cartoonnetwork, and nickalodeon a longgg time ago cuz of that!

Holy crap! this was really nice! I remember most of this shows! it was great! now I have a question...what up with the 92 childs of Indigo stuff and the hybrids?
MegaLocoxx 2 days ago
@MegaLocoxx
Post '92 made the whole decade, and that's fact. All this stuff came out for THEM. They earned it.
clarinetzrox678 2 days ago
You know you're a 90's kid when you think "ten years ago" was 1990 instead of 2002.
cytorakdemon 2 days ago 32
@cytorakdemon
LIE. 2002 was a lot better than 1990. We had hardly any of this stuff in the year 1990. Nice try.

Lol man I don't want to be 21 anymore I want to go back to my child hood and just stay there for a while

Quote from article:
"Larger numbers of Indigo children started arriving around 1992. In fact, if your child was born after 1992, there is a good chance you have an Indigo child. Remember that this isn’t a bad thing, you are blessed to have a Star child, so feel honored that you have been given this incredible gift."
Now if that doesn't contradict all the junk I usually read about who the "real 90's kids are" I don't know what will.
clarinetzrox678 3 days ago
No....all 92 borns from jan-nov are hybrids as well...biologically and by majority of people...there is no reason not to include all the scorpios of 92 to be hybrids...it doesn't matter when u are born in a year that is considered 90's kid...just as long as u were able to say goo goo gah gah that same year...lol

iPoweezy 3 days ago
@iPoweezy
Isn't that awesome? xD AND CONFUSING!? lol
clarinetzrox678 3 days ago
@clarinetzrox678 no you clueless twat! generation x goes until 1974. 1975-1979 is x/y cusp, 1980-1992 is generation y, 1993-1997 is y/z cusp and 1998 onwards is generation z. Generations are demographics not technology you fool. also, grunge has passed by 97? "Touch, Peel And Stand" by Days Of The New came out in late 97, so did "Bleed together" by Soundgarden.
SheSmilesInThe90s 3 days ago
@SheSmilesInThe90s
I said the kids born in those years after wouldn't be as familiar with it as those who came before them.
clarinetzrox678 3 days ago
@clarinetzrox678 Gen X is those born from 1965-1976 it's not a cuture silly. If you are talking about the 85/86-91/92 culture with power ballads, glam metal with bands like Europe, Guns N Roses etc. that's the hair metal culture. The core 90s culture had grunge and lasted from erly 90s -1997. Millenium culture lasted from 1998-2002. But that's irrelevant to people's age groups and world events.
SheSmilesInThe90s 3 days ago
@SheSmilesInThe90s
THEY'RE the ones with the memories.
clarinetzrox678 3 days ago
@clarinetzrox678 I know that grunge wasn't ALL the 90s but it was a main part of it. And metal generation x? Black Sabbath's debut album came out in 1970 and someone born in 1965 was 5 then true, bu there is still metal out there today, maybe not in the mainstream so much apart from bands like Metallica, but it's there.

@SheSmilesInThe90s
Well, nothing ever truly disappears then, does it? No one is 100% anything.
clarinetzrox678 3 days ago
@SheSmilesInThe90s
And if you ask me, people like Kurt Cobain would want us to move on. Grunge was a search for identity. Nothing more.

1978 - 1982 : true '90s teenagers/pre-adults

late 1988 - early 1992 : '90s hybrids
late 1992 - 1998 : real 2000s kids
nickelodeon8911 3 days ago
If there's one thing I can't stand on this page, it's a fucking poser. It's bad enough kids born between 1993-1995 claiming that they're a '90s kid, but now I'm seeing 1997-1999 babies claiming that shit as well. Get the fuck over it, youngsters. If you weren't born in between 1984-early 1988, then you're not a '90s kid. 1978-1982 babies are true '90s teenagers/pre-adults, late 1988-early 1992 babies are half '90s kids, and late 1992-1998 babies are real 2000s kids.
nickelodeon8911 3 days ago
@nickelodeon8911
The real 90's kids know better.
clarinetzrox678 3 days ago
@clarinetzrox678 Okay. So maybe I had a major hot temper that time. My point is that I'm just saying that late '90s babies can't claim a decade they didn't even grew up in. Someone who was at least 3 in 1991 is a real '90s kid, because they had to experience their childhood in between 1991-1996, which is the primary '90s culture. Even though 1991-1993 had some '80s influence, those years were mostly heavier in the '90s culture.
nickelodeon8911 1 day ago
@nickelodeon8911
Nothing you're saying is in any way original. I've heard it all before. 1997-1999 made the whole decade. Bore somebody else. Kids born in the late 80's and early 90's are not necessarily special because they say they would've remembered more. That's so stupid. Most people are just saying that now, because being a "90's kid" is "in" now.
clarinetzrox678 1 day ago
@clarinetzrox678 When the fuck did I say 1997-1999 made the whole fucking decade? That period was part of the new millennium culture. I really don't know what way to explain this without losing my fucking temper again, but I was just pointing out that those born in between 1997-1999 claiming that they're '90s kids are fucking posers. That's all I was saying. I ain't the type of guy to spread arrogance in any way.
nickelodeon8911 1 day ago
@nickelodeon8911
Clinton was the one who got stuff in line.
clarinetzrox678 1 day ago
@clarinetzrox678 So please get the fuck off my dick! I ain't going to get into an unnecessary, perennial argument over a fucking decade!
nickelodeon8911 1 day ago
@nickelodeon8911
What dick? People like you don't have guts. You talk a big game, but all you do is criticize and complain! Any years prior to 1997 had 80's culture in it. 1993-1997 was a transition period. 1997-2004 had all the good stuff. I can talk until I'm blue in the face, and gladly stand up for these kids, because I know what they're up against.
clarinetzrox678 1 day ago
@clarinetzrox678 Criticize? Complain? In what fucking way did I criticize anyone? All I said is that I don't appreciate arrogant kids born in the late '90s claiming a decade that they didn't even fucking grow up in. I see kids like that as posers, which I can't stand. So I don't see how that makes these kids you're referring to as "100% real." And you're probably one of them as well.
nickelodeon8911 1 day ago
@nickelodeon8911
You are destined to do great things.
clarinetzrox678 1 day ago
@clarinetzrox678
Rather than point out what the kids aren't doing right, do something to help them! Oh, yeah. That would be your time and energy wasted. And a decade is not limited to a ten year period. What a sorry misconception. 1980-1996; 1997-2004
clarinetzrox678 1 day ago
@clarinetzrox678
With a 4 year grace period MIGHT I ADD, meaning any kid born after 2008 is not likely to have much of a connection with Generation Y. They're good kids regardless, though, and probably more knowledgeable than these chumps on youtube!
clarinetzrox678 1 day ago
@clarinetzrox678 How the fuck am I calling any of these "genuine kids" out? I respect that they like the '90s better than the shitty 2000s, but when they claim to be a '90s kid when they were really infants/toddlers for most of the decade, that's when I see arrogance. I don't like kids like that. I was born in early 1971 and I will confidently admit that I'm not a full '70s kid, because I missed 1970-1973 and my childhood started via 1974.
nickelodeon8911 1 day ago
@nickelodeon8911
You'll never see a real 90's kid running their mouth like this.
clarinetzrox678 1 day ago
@clarinetzrox678 Of course I won't. Because those real '90s kids are speaking the fucking true. '80s babies are true '90s kids. If you weren't at least 3 throughout the majority of the true '90s culture (1991-1996, not the millennium culture), you're not a real '90s kid. That's the truth, homie. Real talk.
nickelodeon8911 1 day ago

Ruining the minds of children that were destined to shine.

eazycheezie 1 week ago
@eazycheezie see this is why you are cealry too young to be a 90s kid. you think flintstones was the 90s? lol you are decades out. you "remember" re-runs that aired, possibly around the time you were 9 in 2003. If I asked you about when Windows 95 was out, you were only an infant at the time. If I asked you when Princess Diana died, you were only 3 years old at the time. A child is mostly someone who is at school and you were 6-10 in 2000-2004. You are easily a 2000s kid and in no way a 90s kid.

Stronghercules1989 1 week ago
@Stronghercules1989 honestly reruns usually also have a limit just like original shows. like theres no way a person born in say 98 could have possibly watched constant 90s reruns in the mid-late 00s because by then there would be too many 00s shows present to give space to the reruns unless they watched specialized channels like nicktoons or boomerang that only airs 90s shit. most of the 90s reruns pretty much stopped airing on a regular basis on the original channels around 04-05.
deathball22 1 week ago
@deathball22 well how else do you explain them remembeirng these things...unless they are annoying lying brats...
Stronghercules1989 1 week ago
@Stronghercules1989 well they most likely had older siblings to help them discover the stuff. they probably seen the reruns in the early 00s. or if not they probably seen the stuff through specialized channels running til today. i mean even my little cousin born in 01 can recall some 90s things cause i always switched the channel to 90s cartoon channels like nicktons since he was practially an infant and he got hooked on to the shows.
and another possibility is well they are just simply lying.

Stronghercules1989 1 week ago
@Stronghercules1989 oh and for some of the 00s kids talking about reruns. even reruns themselves usually also have their limits on how long they can continue to keep airing constantly. theres no way a 90s rerun can continue on a regular basis as far as 2006 or something cause by then there would be too many native 00s tv shows around to give enough space for the 90s reruns to keep airing.
some of the younger 00s kids born in like 98 or later probably saw those reruns on specialized channels.

Stronghercules1989 1 week ago
@Stronghercules1989 I started playing in 99 actually and hell i dont remember anyone dieing ever except my grandpa other than that if your famous you could die and i wont know unless about 20 of my friends tell me cause i dont pay much attention to depressing shit

@nickelodeon8911 I agree, but what if you were bron in 1993?
LAtrapnigga 1 week ago
@LAtrapnigga Then you're a real 2000s kid.

Stronghercules1989 1 week ago
@Stronghercules1989 well that sucks for me according to your list it seem im a younger hyrbid 90s child since i was born so late in december 89 that i could have been almost born in 1990 a week later if my ma decided to keep me in her stomach a for little longer.
deathball22 1 week ago
@deathball22 It's because unless you were born on the first of january 1989, you still were only 10 on Jnauary 1st, 2000.
Stronghercules1989 1 week ago
@deathball22 It really wouldn't matter if you were born on January 1, 1989. Either way, you're still a hybrid '90s kid. True '90s kids were born in between roughly 1984-early 1988, because their childhood started in between 1987-1991.
nickelodeon8911 1 week ago
@deathball22 Late 1988-early 1992 born kids are hybrid '90s kids. Late 1992 through roughly early 1998 born kids are real '00s kids. Being born in early 1971, I am a hybrid '70s kid.
nickelodeon8911 1 week ago

Jawskillaful 1 week ago
@Mikkixox9 Actually, someone born in 1992 would be seven years old once 1999 would end, and someone being born in 1989 would be 10 at that time. About 1989 babies, it's pretty perplexing. I mean they were toddlers in 1991 and wouldn't become children 'til 1992. At the same time, they would become teenagers in 2002. So I guess we could say that they're 85% '90s kids and 15% 2000s kids. Very perplexing now that I take a second look at it.
nickelodeon8911 1 week ago
@nickelodeon8911 still I think anyone that was considered a kid before the 90's ended is considered a 90's kid. I mean I was 6 when the 90's ended so that makes me half 90's and half 00's kid. But I was born after 1992. '
Mikkixox9 6 days ago
89 is 80s right so why is 88 in but not 89-91? we were all toddlers in some point in the 90s even late 80s babies. just stating fact. plus 88 is too young to fully enjoy it from 90-99. they were just toddlers when it started. they wouldnt have known anything about lets say music wise johnny gill 1990 kid n play 87-91 and so on and so forth.
ajbatesone 6 days ago
@ajbatesone while i may not remember the early 90s(born 89), 88ers still spent the majorty of their childhood in the 90s regardless of the fact that their childhood extended a little bit into the early 00s. but its more about being kids and not toddlers in the 90s, if that was the case then even kids born as far as 96 can claim the 90s in terms of toddlers and that doesnt sound right in terms of remembering the actual decade.
deathball22 5 days ago
@deathball22
Well, it is right. It's about the impressionable years, not the years you have political viewpoints. 88ers-92ers are extremely bitter about this. I find it ridiculous. Maybe if you guys stopped jumping to wrongful conclusions, things would make more sense.

@ajbatesone
What?
clarinetzrox678 4 days ago

They’re the kids that made the 90’s.
clarinetzrox678 3 days ago
@SheSmilesInThe90s
