All depends on the staff to be fair, The branch I work in has a good mix of people who actually enjoy what they do, me Im a Downhill and Dirt jump Mountain bike rider, so when I build a bike I make sure I would be happy to ride it, but on the peanuts they pay us, Im not surpirsed you get the odd frowny emplyee.

Brought Bike at Halfords
Bike built by Halfords techies
Received Checklist full of Ticks
GO home and
1) tyres were at 25 psi not the recommended 40-65
2) Front wheel was not fitted correctly
3) front disk brake does not work at all
4) back disk is slightly warped so it squeaks
