Yes, we had Gus's voice go deeper in episode 6 & onward. That seemed like a good time to do it, because it had been nearly 3 months since we'd seen Gus (in episode 4, early September) so there was enough time for the voice change to have happened.

You have to get Sims 2 celebrations stuff.

Actually, my tree came with the Happy Holidays expansion pack. I'm not sure if Celebrations has a tree, as it's more wedding stuff, but I don't know for sure!

You have to have the right expansion packs, I guess. The raised-level platforms (the floor Ella's hot tub rests on, which looks about 3 feet taller than the regular floor) came with the Seasons exp. pack -- and maybe the later ones (Vacation, FreeTime). I have no idea which pack the playpen walls came with, but if you're really interested (and you don't have them) I can find out.

I haven't downloaded any furniture, all my furniture is from the expansion packs that I have -- Sims Holiday Edition, Seasons, Nightlife, University, Bon Voyage, and Teen Life. I can try to figure out which pack a certain piece of furniture came from, if you can describe it, tell me what scene it's in, etc. :)
