I am a hardcore blood brothers band and freaking Mark Gajadhar is personally my favorite drummer because he is... well, the best. But seriously, why does Johnny Whitney always seem like he is out of breath whenever they play live? I really feel like at live shows he kinda brings them down while trying to take the stage.
Now This isn't to say that I don't think he's really creative and great, great songwriter. Or the fact that I mourn each and every day that I was unable to see them live D:

I remember before I ever heard of the blood brothers all of my friends went to go see them at some free show here in town and I think I had to do something else or go to a different show...of course later I started listening to them and now their one of my fav bands because thats when burn piano island burn first came out..and havent seen them ever since none of their shows around here are very advertised and now no chance to see them because they broke up like morons???
the bands that the bros have split up into has illustrated the extreme musical diversity that they had.
Jordan is in your typical 31G whathefuckaretheysaying awesome group. Johnny is in a punk/dance group that I somehow love. But Mark, who was the supposed reason for the breakup, is in a shitty rap gorup.
Before they broke up I had a conversation with Jordan & he said he was actually upset that he did not have much vocals on Young Machetes. He also said he did not know how much longer the band would last. That was during their last tour.
When i started getting into them i noticed on anything after Burn Piano Island, Burn jordan had less vocals. What made the blood brothers unique was their shared vocals and placement, but they lost that in newer albums.
I don't see why so many people like Johnny more, they're both good singers, but johnny seems to be a bit of a showoff.
omg, they are such dorks on stage. nothing like i imagined they would be. and did i read that someone posted they broke up? that sucks, they had some awesome music.
actually it is a sin that they are no more.....those who do not understand the musical genius should just stick to pulling out their shitty chiodos albums.....stick to what you know best; musicians that are not doing anything different
well, according to their myspace, they said it was time they parted ways or something.. but all i know is that they did break up for a very lousy reason.
If you listen to their other bands Jordan is in to more hardcore stuff and Johnny has this more generic pop sound, The Blood Brothers were just heading more in Johnny's preference, and Jordan was slowly being erased from the group.

It's a really good group actually.
Johnny was the main reason for the breakup.
He and Jordan were fighting because Jordan wanted more vocals.
Which I agree that he should've had them.

Considering JL is straight pop, I figured that Jordan wanted to take the less immediate rode, and Johnny wanted a more immediate sound.
