  • Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but I rarely watch the "overview and summary." If I want to review something, I can just "rewind" the video. I'm aware that you may say something new in the overview, but due to time constraints, I usually stop watching your videos at the announcement of "overview and summary." I feel that at this point, the plot has reached its end.

  • is chesscube not working for anyone else?

  • @SamPaxton3 Mine has been fine all day

  • Carlsen's play seems perfect at times. It's like watching chess from another dimension. Very enjoyable game!

  • To settle the Chetto/ketto debate I propose that from now on this setup should be named "Fankietcho" oe "Fianchetko" or "Kiancheffo" so that the everybody can from now on agree and be pleased with the pronounciation.

  • @AzraelAscoli I propose the internationaly recognized "blub-blub" as in "kingside blub-blub".

  • @mattiassollerman I second this proposition

  • @9:32, My guess is that Carlsen's e3 was just a high-class waiting move because he didn't want to move anything else. Black doesn't have many good moves and Carlsen may have been waiting for him to weaken his position.

  • from round 1 this game was great but todays aronian naka should be reviewed

  • also aronian naka from today very complicated queen for 2peaces imbalance... and the non queen side won

  • that last move kxd5 that you inserted didnt happen

  • plz can anyone answer me when KC live games starts

  • Can anyone please tell me what chess engine he is using? :)

  • Comment removed

  • @craik62 He is using Houdini 2.0x64 The most powerful chess engine in the world. Best of luck. Cheers!

  • @Pbatch23888 He wasn't comparing their complexity in any way, he was saying that Carlsen's pays subtle attention to detail in his chess playing, just as Mozart pays subtle attention to detail in his composing.

  • instructive - thanks very much!

  • Thank you very much for covering this @kingscrusher - I have been following some of the games live and now am enjoying your analysis.

  • i think 20. e3, in the broader sense of chess strategy, just gives the light squared bishop broader scope for the rest of the game. It just adds flexibility to the position. To me Magnus's position looks like there are no real threats so he just slightly improves it.

  • Wow. I've just stopped the video at 3:35. Bxf6?!? One would expect this if black played ...h6, but at first sight it seems almost a coffeehouse move to play it unprovoked. I presume white has to play this now otherwise ...Nbd7 and the bishop is misplaced

  • music its much more than chess. more like 3d chess. cant compare.

  • Why do you keep on making artistic references to Mozart? :P

  • you should do an instructive game with aronian vs nakamura. it was a gr8 game
