Well you are right in that in order to call the war a disaster we have to define failure and success. Let's say we measure success only by the capture of Saddam, then it would be a success. If we however measure success after, Iraq security, Iraq wealth, Iraqi peoples wellbeing, US economy or US security this war comes out as a terrible failure, cause all of those have gone awfully bad. Especially the US economy (deficit of 10 trillion dollars).
