Puffy and his production team the hittmen used to sample bigtime especially from 70s and 80s tracks they made it pretty effective and changed the sound. Sometimes they altered it a little. This is sampled from David Bowie's "let's dance" which was out the year i was born 1983.

Heaps of his hits are from re-worked 80s tracks.
