Although I have since moved away, it's awesome to see him speak in my hometown. He is exactly what this country needs and what towns like Anderson, IN need to make a turnaround. I will be so happy when he becomes our President! (And I am confident that he will!)
...There are many moral objectives in this world that can only be achieved when mankind is willing to cross the political, religious & cultural borders, and the candidacy of Mr. Obama embodies those elements. America is well equipped & capable of leading the moral journey of the unification of humanity, and Mr. Obama is an annointed soul that can lead America to carry the torch further.
Why Obama? Barack is a man that is very upfront and frank with you. He is taking a stand to chagnge the negative ways of politics in Washington. He see where all americans need someone who cares about them and the welfare of the people. Like his opponent that only care about her ego and standing in history Barack is a Leader who will fight for our cause. Don't let the smear attacks keep us from a good friend in a Pres. that is rare and for the common folk. INDIANA show some love Barack the Vote!
Hillary would throw anyone under the bus to win, I have done my home work! And I have found that the Clintons are the most corrupt couple in History and you can bet the farm they are only out for themselves.
If you love your country as I do and desire no more war and killing of innocent people or wish for peace for all nations and if you even dare to hope for equal pay for ordinary americans you will never vote for for McCain or Hillary Clinton!
Wright is like a crazy ass uncle who tells spooky bible stories... It has nothing to do with Obama, but Obama needs to man up and tell him to shut his pie hole, he is scarin the children!
America this is from London you really need to vote barak obama he is your futchure to redem yourselfs as a democratic nations not the poison that the 2 other candidates are plese vote for him plese
If a man stood up in a hall in Britain and mentioned he was in the Royal Navy, he would not get a round of applause. Patriotism is one thing you have got right!
You do realize, don't you, that the next president is being set up big time by the Bushies? Look at the way they are propping up the economy and the stock market; only to let it drop the day Bush leaves office. A raw deal for whoever wins the election.
Yes We Can We need Barack as President to fix what is wrong with this country after the last President messed it up so badly he is the only on e that will fix it correctly
I was thinking this as well....just give existing, well chosen Hospitals a few Million in extra cash and let them take care of any Vet that visits them
Its ridiculous how many veterans have kicked out of VA by the Bush administration. I can't wait until Barack is elected president so he can reverse some of this damage.
I am very glad he is wearing that wrist band--that I believe belonged to soldier who died in Iraq. The people who question his patriotism have hidden agendas.
I work for the Deparment of Veterans Affairs Benefits Administration. Out of all the candidates who have run, Senator Obama has provided the most comprehensive and realistic understanding of the problems our Department faces.
Amen, Senator Obama. The best my dad ever did medically was in the VA Medical System. He almost didn't survive the private medical system. The quality of care declined over time in each of the private facilities he was in. My mom was not treated very well during this process. He passed away this week after a 2 year catastrophic illness. The VA in Maryland did an outstanding job with his care. More services are needed indeed for our vets - especially vent units.
he could have easily exploited her statement on the VA system (like she did to him with the whole "bitter" fiasco) but he chose to take the higher road.
excellent you directly talked about what the man asked, and went further in his topic. So many other politicians will ramble and not talk at all about an issue directly.
obama, you are doing right. don't debate hillary any more. she knows she's a sore loser and she just wants to throw more devious tactics in your way. we have heard enough debates. good luck in indiana and north carolina. you are a world class senator and gentleman AND YOU WILL BE A WORLD CLASS PRESIDENT.
I understand that Barack may be aiming for a sense of authenticity by seeming to give unprepared answers, but he instead comes across as hesitant and, well, not so well prepared. He starts by thanking the serviceman who asks the question but his answer, showing sincerity, good manners instincts, but does not highlight gratitude coherently or effectively enough as the policy-driving principle in his answer. In other words, his answers need to be clearer and more direct.
On the contrary...I am the man who posed the question, and his answers were right on point, at least in my opinion. He knows the pros and cons of the VA healthcare system and was able to speak intelligently about them, and this was a much clearer and more direct response than the one I received from Clinton's Senior Healthcare Policy Advisor...hands down.
Obama is the BEST! He even gave his rival contender a little credit. Obama is all about positive, and he is the one I would love to see in the White House as the PRESIDENT!
A veteran says the Hillary Camp gave an unsatisfactory answer to VA healthcare question.
It would have been a perfect opportunity to sttack Clinton, but no, Obama just outlines what's good and what's bad with the VA on a PRACTICAL level, and outlines exactly what he would do to improve it.
This is exactly why he will be President. After a while opponents would look stupid trying to attack him, and will instead try to work WITH him to solve problems.
Although I have since moved away, it's awesome to see him speak in my hometown. He is exactly what this country needs and what towns like Anderson, IN need to make a turnaround. I will be so happy when he becomes our President! (And I am confident that he will!)

The full perspective.
God bless him. Finally, a man of, by, and for the People, not the elite special interests.
